2013 Canadian Indoor Offroad Shootout.

Just like to give a big thanks to Neil and John at CRE. Ran my new CRE BTT all weekend with nothing but praise from me and my fellow racers. The motor pulled hard but smooth and screamed down the straight. This is after CRE's break in plus about 2 tanks only in the yard then off to the races it was. Barely even had to touch the needles either.

The only problem having CRE engines is deciding which one to run, my Clocked Mugen B 02 is also a screamer.

Don't hesitate, contact these guys.

Took a couple little video clips of my first run with the Clocked Picco Boost. I was running with my buddy in a agama truck with a novarossi bonito. Mugen Truggy orange and white
M2C clutch with 4-1.0's and 13t clutch bell and Nova 9886 pipe with 41029 header, so far the best combo from the werks 2058 and 9886 with short header 41001. Still 1st time out with it though.

I love watching you and Shawn battle.....it soooo much comedy:lol::lol::lol:
Wheel to wheel action with ish taking in the mix. Love it!!!

I have Clocked Bonito that I am going to take apart to clean the inside. What product do you recommend to clean the internals? I will be replacing the bearings. Thank you

If you pull the bearings out you can pretty much use about anything... I Have used hot tap water, bar of Irish Spring and a toothbrush...A few minutes of scrubbing, a blast of air and they come out clean as a whistle !!!!!!!!

Just take your time and thoroughly inspect the engine...look for scratches on the crank window , scratches on the piston, scuffs on the piston , heavy rubbing on the backplate.....If you see anything you suspect is not normal take some pictures and let me take a look at them

My buddy Big Shawn pulled a 3rd place at revelation raceway Amain buggy. 10min pit stops running the +4 nova Clocked. Triple every lap flying. After 25min main temped at 225deg.

He was making that triple like it was nothing with a short take off. Good run!!!

Neal,
What's a good time to call? I live in Indiana on eastern time zone. Have a strange issue and need some knowledgeable help if you don't mind.

Thanks,

Randy

My clocked P5XLT ran amazingly well this past weekend. The Bones Brew 30/8 along with a P4 plug provided reliable performance and PLENTY of power. I have my Buku set up with no stagger and it provided great pop for the short run up jumps on the med/high bite indoor track. I was getting 12 minutes with a tiny sip left in the tank. When tearing down the engine it looked like a was running a touch lean. Going to fatten it up a bit for the next race.

My driving pretty much sucked but my gear was top notch!! LOL.

Awesome to hear..

I am not 100% sure you were lean really...but based on your pictures the glowplug maybe looked a touch dry( need a better quality pic of plug coil )..... however the rest looked pristine......it just me that the fuel burns cleaner then we are used to

It does seem to burn really clean. The plug did seem a bit dry before the cleaning so I'll be fiddling with it just to be safe. Any other tell tale signs on the coil that would indicate a lean condition?

I have to mention that Neal remembered I had a race Saturday and he emailed me on Sunday evening to make sure that I was getting along well with the engine. That's just ridiculously great service!
