Nice Frank. We wanna see pipe side too. I can't dig on the red tint. Just not for me, but it is a different way to go.

Looks good Frank....The purple matches more than your "black" heads did.
Now for the truggy? |
2 weeks ago I got the urge to get back in to rc nitro racing. Ive been reading up on clockworks for a while. I decided to get ahold of them and speak to them about some packages for myself. Neal and John were both great and deliver the same type of service as I do to my customers which is very important to me.
I had them build a serpent 811 truggy and then a week later pulled the gun on a 811 TE buggy. Im a motor freak during my day job so Neal hooked me up with a combo he thinks will satisfy my " habitual" needs lol. Got the truggy yesterday and WOW was I blown away from the packing to the smallest details they put into the build. Simply awesome. Why didnt I build it? Cuz I dont have the time...I m busy building 650 hp turbocharged prostreet motorcycles and electronics which pays for my " fun things ". Not only does clockworks provide awesome engine modifications but they also offer complete builds for guys like myself who simply do not have the time to do it. If you want a turn key package so you can get out there and race give them a ring. You will not be dissapointed! Thanks again John and Neal for the awesome service. Have any of you guys tried the Mugen 2042 (2060) pipe on the P5 engine?
Thanks |

That's what i run (nova 9886) with the short smooth header. Power delivery is smooth and top end is very good.

I'm wanting to try a round header on my ofna 086 pipe, which header would work the best? I'm using it on the bonito and P5. Suggestions anyone?

What about the NR 9886 pipe? The 086 pipe is stronger. I wish they would make a SS version of the 9886 +1 on the 021 NR header or the header that comes with the 086 pipe is a nice round smooth header too. |

Guys the Nova 41001 is a very good pairing with the P5 and a 9886 pipe. Keep in mind the 41021 header will provide more grunt. Don't be fooled by the "smooth" moniker that Nova gives it. It's meatier than the 41005 or 41001 header.
I have run the 2096 pipe with the 41001 header and it's a nice combo. Smooth and with a nice mid/top response. The 41021 and 21096 combo had more bottom end grunt with a similar mid range but the top was a bit sluggish. Just my $.02. |
Dan, i found the same results with those exact manifolds. I don't have a P5 yet but i do use those same manifolds on the 4 Clockworks engines i run. Good tuning tool for different tracks and conditions.
