I would say start with a 7 mm.......a 6.5 may work as well...... Just make sure to limit the throttle pull to match the insert....The Bonito is a totally different animal and it tends to require the larger insert, but it pumps a pile more air thru it then the BTT does....

Got my Buggy Mod P5 yesterday! I promised it to Tom Stober so I will make sure he posts detailed reports. I really appreciate the efforts put forth by both Neal and John to keep us guys running like clockwork, and the custom decals are like the gift that keeps on giving.......

Neal thanks for the call yesterday. Nice to see you back in your happy place. And thanks for nursing my dirty engines back to health. I guess a little time at the CRE spa does an engine good

Got a chance to run my new mills yesterday bonito in the truggy and BTT in the buggy. We were on a very low traction track it's an unprepped surface nothing extra just a water here and there. Both engines ran great all day no flames and easy tune. The BTT is defiantly a buggy engine. I used a 2058 Werks pipe on it and it seems to pull nicely and what a great sound. I ran them rich yesterday because I didn't have a chance to get much fuel through them. I am starting to like these engines. After I run enough fuel through them it will be interesting to see what kinda run times they will put down. The competition was fierce yesterday's nd it landed me in the b buggy main. I was within a few car lengths of bumping but I guess I left my bump streak in AZ a couple weeks ago. The truggy A main was a blast. The guys in my area in the expert class never let off. You have to push it hard or you will find yourself at the back of the pack quickly. I recently moved into the expert class and I need to smash my cruise control button and push hard the whole 30 min main. It was nice to have my CRE engines running strong again. The bonito turned a few heads. Neal you will prob get a call from a NorCal guy looking for a truggy engine, I talked to a guy after the race that wanted to know more about the CRE engine.

On a side tie I did manage to pull off a TQ and a win in the E bug main

Neal and John, heluva job on the Fire 11! That bad boy hit the track and ran like a bat outta hell from the gitgo. Quite a bit stronger than the C6 USA. Hard to believe its only going to get better. The Buku is going on this guy, lol. Back to the track next weekend, hello spring weather. Sweet.

Know what you mean Jay. Every CRE engine i have draws attention like that. I had the track all to myself today except the guys working behind the track. Soon there were 3 heads peaking over the back wall watching my truggy run. It was howling.
