tho I did break the engine in for you I would still like you to take it relatively easy for the first couple of tanks.... Just to be sure everything settles in correctly with the fuel change..Other then that the engine is ready to rip... it will still go thru a period of about 1 gallon till it reaches its prime...But as it is off my bench it is 90% ready to roll.......

Other drivers may very well hate my set up. I did stick with the 2058 pipe and standard manifold. Engine was nice and smooth on the low end and kept pulling until I let go of the throttle. This engine is perfect for any application. In my truggy with a much more aggressive clutch it was throwing it around like a rag doll. I can't see anyone being dissapointed with the CRE P5. Nice work guys!
Can't wait to get my P5 rolling my bonito is rocking don't have enough time in the day for this break in stuff its a pain.

Also depends on the almighty trigger finger..

Ask Neal if he thinks my son Josh will ever make 10 minutes with any engine.. Heavy trigger finger is a understatement.

I have about 5 race weekends on mine in my Mugen MBX6r. Once it loosened up, the past 2 weekends have not touched the needles, and I have been getting 10+ out of it pretty easy. That is with Byron's 30/9%, Nova 9886 pipe, Nova C6tgc (med) plug. It took about 2 gallons or so for it to loosen up. After that the runtime and power really comes out!!!!

I have been getting between 10:30 to 12:00 out of it in the serpent truggy.

I have been getting between 11:00 to 12:30 out of it in the serpent buggy.

This is with the 7.5mm venturi fitted, m2c clutch, reg hard ally shoes and a springs ranging from 0.9 to 1.0, Run times for me are with a good tune running at no more than 220f and a smooth feathering style trigger finger, quality of fuel will effect the run time also.

During the australian truggy nationals at race pace I ran a 10 minute heat with out a pit stop also hit the line at 9:55 and completed the extra lap and then continued around the track again waiting for the car to run out of fuel but it made it back to the pits and the then idled on the pit wall until I got down to the wall which was 12:40 and running on fumes.

CRE modded p5xlt is just an amazing power plant that works just as well in both truggy & buggy ....... home run here clockworks

Sent you a pm. I'm on vacation and looking for somewhere to race nitro truggy this weekend. Hopefully within a 700 mile radius, lol.
