Let me start with a huge WOW, this engine is just out of a 1 1/2 litre break in so i would guess thats its nuts have yet to drop and the tune was a little off too but i wanted to get some footage of this animal screaming.
Off the line its awsome and smooth through out the power range thats for sure, really felt like driving a hovercraft rather than a truggy with all four wheels balloning off there heads, I was excited too , cant wait to hit the track with this amazing 5 port next sunday.

Awesome power, I'm impressed
Tune seems slightly off as you said, tad lean on low end and/or idle gap too big.

I am going to guess the idle needed to be lowered...As when it sat for 10 seconds it was starting to load up judging from its smoke trail on take off......I am finding as these Nova's breakin the idle starts to creep up....When they are new and tight they idle nice and low on the factory idle setting, but as the engine loosens up the idle starts to creep higher and higher the looser it gets....I guess the big idle gap is like slightly holding open the throttle in order to overcome the mechanical friction inside the engine.....But as the friction goes down the throttle no longer needs to be held open as much.....I see this characteristic happen with most engines to some degree or another, but it is definitely most apparent on the Nova's....

0.9 Idle gap would not have been helping, was slowly lowering the idle and leaning the bottom as i broke this engine in and it needed to be more like 0.6 for where it is up to.

To My Canadian friends.. Are there any places arounf Toronto to race? I have a friend in that area and might be visiting her next summer, so I figure why not get in some racing while I'm there..

No weights at all, just an empty flywheel spooling its head off

Clockwork modified Novarossi P5XLT is running like clockwork.
2 1/4 litres down and still with a bigger idle gap and rich bottom end to make sure it has plenty of lube until its ready for a race tune this weekend, hsn is still set at the factory position also, This engine feels really smooth from the standing start right up to the top end screamer that it is producing, cant wait to see how it goes on the weekend.
