i use a water based commercial degreaser/solvent.....You can use anything really..fantastic,simple green etc....I run mine at about 60 Celsius...

Is Naptha ok? Would it swell silicone in cranks?

I would not use anything flammable in a ultrasonic....some people might, but I would rather not....

OK, here's deal. Over the last 5 months I have purchased several modded engines from multiple company's(think Murman, HES, Power ....). By far, Neal's engines take second to no one.


A properly tuned engine requires some patience and time (and the right glow plug). Neal's engines have a certain uuuuumphh to them that no other modification company has. Hell, even Murman engines don't sing like Neal's (seriously!).

This is a unsolicited endorsement for Neal's excellent work. Clock Work Engines are the TRUTH:cool:.

I would have to agree-I haven't tried any other modded engines but the b5 certainly sings like no other stock motor.... by a lot.


By the way Neal, I may need to pick up a B6 from you for buggy! Nitro is just more fun for outdoor, I think the electric will go! I'll probably get one for next season, so I'll let you know sometime this winter.

Our club had our Annual Hobbyworld Cruise Weekend race this weekend, I was only able to make one qualifier( due to work ) putting me in 5th place on the starting grid of the A-main. This was my first race with my new Clocked Bonito, and I managed to pull all the fastest laps that we've seen at our club to date! I couldn't be happier with my gear! I broke a front shock shaft about 5 laps out from the end of the race, but didn't lose the spring or the spring cup, and still came out on top at the end:D:tire::tire:

And it would be nice to know with which pipe these runtimes are possible.

I have a new stock Novarossi Bonito, but I consider to let it clock by Neal.
