Clockwork Racing Engines and Products...

Your first post back since Jan.13th and you come here and start it with wtf in the title? Glad to see you and MR.MUGAN(jstleanit) are back...not for long...
So here's the answer to your(allspeed) ignorant question(s). You don't drive anywhere from say 3-13 hours to the PNB with a motor that's new to "you" that you have never ran or tuned prior without knowing there is someone that can get you out of a bind if a problem arises.Like say not being able to tune said motor because it tunes different than any other mill you have owned. That just makes for a long aggravating weekend. As far as your chassis question. Its called take very good notes for each track and track condition and the changes you made for those conditions. If that does not work go ask someone running the same veh that's faster than you. But apparently you have all the answers,so no need for you to do that. But the facts are there is always someone faster or has more knowledge about a given subject than you.And if you want to get better and be faster you need to be a sponge soak up all the information you can and ask as many intelligent questions as possible to the correct people. So in your case that probably means just about anyone in your 1/8th scale off road pits.Well, not counting all those you have been alienated by because off what seems to be a know it all, ignorant attitude! Please go back to the AB Thread because no one that frequents this one likes or wants you here. In fact, its possible your not really wanted in the AB thread either. Its post like the last one that shows your not very knowledgeable and more than anything just like to cause problems. So you promote/speak highly of Adams work(which I don't think anyone in here has a problem with him as a person nor is work) someone is considering purchasing one of his mills maybe from feedback you have given. Now they look at some of your prior posts(like the last one) and realize they cant put any faith in anything you say. Your probably doing more harm than good to the product line you promote!!! My full name is Brian Faulstick I'm sponsoring two of the larger race series in your area and will be down your way more than once this season. If you would like to discuss this further please don't hesitate to swing by my pit stall. I'll be wearing S&W T-shirt and flying clockwork banners!!! If I'm not there its probably because I'm at another pit table seeking knowledge
So leave a note or stop back.

So leave a note or stop back.Like you say I am but if I purchase an engine I have never run before I would take the time to make sure I can get to run properly. But hey that's just me.
When you guy's are at the tack stop tunning their engins for them they will never learn that way. Give them the screwdriver and tell them what to do and why they are doing it. Come on fellas stop being lazy.
Why bring ab into this I didn't anything about him. Why are you?
Everyone have a good season. I look foward to seeing more podium finishes for Clockwork Raceing.

Was wondering if any clock work users are running a 3 shoe clutch and having success with it gripping, We run the Werks 4 shoe on the CRE B6 and are happy but was going through the shed today and have quiet a few Xray shoes NIP and thought should use them.....

Hey guys, haven't been on here much lately due to spending time looking for a new job but hope to be here more now. Was wondering if any of you had suggestions to help out our fuel mileage...running a clocked B6 with a Werks 2057 pipe in buggy and we're only getting about 8 1/2 minutes of run time? I'm getting close to 12 in my truggy with the B5 and 2013 pipe. Neal, feel free to chime in here as well with any suggestions you might have. Not sure if leaning it out a bit more might make the difference, or if the new 2058 pipe would show better results? Thanks guys, and it's good to be back...getting our stuff ready for the summer series.

probably nothing more then your tune/setup ! How wide is your idle gap ? how much fuel thru the engine so far ? The 2058 may deliver better runtimes, i find it to be much stronger on the low end, which requires you to use less throttle....But even still a properly tuned Clocked B6 on a 2057 should do 10 ...Also depends on the track I guess...... But if the engine is new, with a wide idle gap and running a little rich it wont get the best mileage....... give me a call and we can go over your setup in a little more detail !
