Geezzzzz Clocked B5, JPX and a JL. Its like being a kid in a candy store. Although I have not bought an engine from you guys yet the support factor alone makes me want too. Keep up the great work.

..you won't regret it:nod:

John, the track was quite hooked up. They made some changes to the track, so we all had to adjust our driving for the new tweaks..made for a very fun day:D I hope you can come out and run with us next year, the layout is quite fun and fast flowing, yet technical.

I've been bugged like crazy here to go there, so next season is a done deal. I'll just give you my wife's phone number at work the day I leave ;)

Seriously, we'll be there with a hand full of us, just leave me a spot in the Sportsman Class :)

What run times is he getting with the Boost? Does it seem to have enough for Grunt for truggy? What is your overall opinion of the Boost Neal?

+1 interested in the boost also

We were able to run 13:40 till dry on the modded Boost in Buggy..........however for a Truggy i would think it to be on the rather mellow side....a JPX .21 would be a better choice IMO....However the boost is no slouch by any means, but its nowhere even remotely close to the power and RPM of the JPX

Frankie,
Thanks for busting my chops about the stickers dude, you made soda come out of my nose when I read your post!! What can I say...gotta rock those stickers cuz if it don't go fast at least it looks good on the track and in the pits! But with engines from Neal one doesn't have to worry about going fast...just keeping the shiny side up and the rubber side down. Can't wait to race with you again buddy!

So what do you think is a good middle ground. It's for a buggy. I've been told Clocked JL .21 "The Rocket" by a few guys here and I'm about to pull the trigger but I'm wondering if you think the JPX would be too much. I may be swapping the engine between my buggy and truggy.

Thanks

Anytime Kris, anytime.

A jpx in buggy if freaking nuts, I love it. Have it in my 8ight EU with a 14/48 gearing, any lower and it's all wheelspin. Even a fellow racer used to racing a brushless buggy loved it.

The JPX is not good in a Buggy IMO...way too radical ( some guys do love it tho ! )......The JL however is powerful enough for a Truggy but still manageable for the Buggy.....The JL would be a good choice IMO.....and if your leaning more towards Buggy power, but with enough for a Truggy the B6 is also a good choice...

Yeah well I thought a GRP in buggy felt anemic, so I must be getting used to big power. :D

I used to get flack all the time for saying that LOL ! But you truly cannot understand till you drive a modified Picco .21 for yourself...Once you get used to the feel of the Picco all the other motors feel very tame and often times gutless...The Picco has a very unique feel to it, and once you get used to that feel it is almost difficult to get used to other engines....So far after all the engines we have tested we have found nothing that has anywhere near the snap the Picco has....Its not the engine for everybody, but if you tend to be a trigger blipper the Picco is among the best...Not an engine for a trigger bleeder IMO...
