. Me too. That was nice surprise to find a bunch of extra Glow plugs in there. I am running my Clocked JPX tomorrow.

We don't always know what make/model the motors are going into so it's best to recheck your alignment and seat the carb your self.
Yes, the lsn on the Picco's are a bullet shape style if that is what you are referring to.

I'm pretty sure you had 2 plugs with your order? Did I send you too many? The JPX does come with a plug installed right

Sorry guys, Neals out in Edmonton this weekend at the RCPro races with our Team Driver Nick Moxely (Integra) but I'm sure he will be on in a bit.

You're special and we sent you a few for the over payment you made

As per Neal's request of course...

I love being special! I knew all those years of riding the short bus would pay off.

The JL .21 has been revamped a little bit... the factory has made some changes to the port timing and port angles of the stock engine...which allows me to modify the engine quite differently then before... We are just now testing the newest version of my JL 21 and so far the results are very promising...it has more bottom, more mid and the same top as before and with a pretty good jump in fuel mileage......We are only on tank 6 of the newest JL and its pretty ridiculous !

Neal quick question, we have two Orion MTE engines and they both feel like they have no compression but they run good. I know that most Sirio motors I have run feel like they are low on compression like my B3 and my Extech but they ran good. Do you think if I took out one of the small shims the engines would run better??? Thanks Marcus

Bad front bearing. Unbelievable. I have been waiting 2 weeks for this day and a bad front bearing. Not a knock on you max, this is pico's fault. I am aggravated. I hope that my lhs has a bearing that will fit. They don't have much of anything so i doubt it.

also You should also insist not recommend that people get the coupler for there manifold. The gasket the picco came with comes no where close to fitting any of my pipes. I put an o.s. gasket on there and it does not really fit either, but i guess i can double spring it with losi springs and it should work, so no biggee there

sorry, i am cranky

Sorry to hear of your misfortune dreaux. When I questioned him about that motor he did all but insist I get the HD manifold coupler. So, I know he's trying to get the word out on it.

I just wanted to thank everyone for their patience with all my questions and willingness to answer them.
I'm a budget racer so I really have to do my homework and hope I get a durable product that is right for my application as I don't have the budget to just buy something else.(Family man)

I'm excited to hear about this newer JL but I'm curious if it will still be in my budget. I only get one shot at purchases then I have to live with my decision for a while. It's a rough way to try and be competitive but I love the hobby so I do what I must.
Thanks again,
Rich

Sorry to hear about the bad bearing Marcus, we will call OFNA Monday and let them know.

See your email please, we will send you a new dbl sealed front bearing and a ceramic rear bearing, also a HD exhaust seal Monday with Express shipping.
We will also take your advice and now Include the HD rear exhaust seal with every JPX motor that goes out. Price will not be affected.

Again sorry for the inconvenience, we were not aware of the faulty bearings on this batch and will check every one. I am also running a JPX from that batch and mine was oddly okay.

Thanks,

thank you. And not that it matters, he did insist after it was shipped. However, i understand he is out of town and things are a little out of order. So comunication is a little affected.

And really no need for a rear ceramic. The one i have is fine and i know it was just a mistake. I do not need to take advantage of you for that. thank you very much for your prompt response.

thanks again

dreaux, seems everything you touch has a problem.
Someone should pick you up as there poster child.
I can already see that Neal is going to have fun dealing
with you. j/k man. Once you get the new bearing
installed, you're going to enjoy that bad azzed engine.

Thats the service that keeps me as a Clocked customer for life!
There are many engine guys out there to choose from, but very few who take such good care of their customers.

Everything i touch has a problem??? Go through all my post and find where i had a defective product sent to me. WTF are you taking about! Is it my fault the engine has a bad bearing? I really don't appreciate your indictment, WHen i first started yes, most of the problems i had were of my own doing and almost always tunning and or setup issues. But those days are long gone. I have been doing this for almost 2 years, and i do nothing but try to help people through the same pitfalls i went through when i started.

Neil is going to have fun dealing with me?? What the hell is that supposed to mean? Its not anyone's fault (piccos actually). You cannot tell the bearing is bad until the flywheel gets put on. I have never owned a jpx before and coming from o.s. it is completley different. If i have questions they are legitimate, and i am an excellent engine mechanic and tuner, so after i get the engine proper he will likely not hear from me agian until i need something. They have taken care of the problem and were very professional.

it's also very poor taste to pile on when someone is having a bad day.
