Kudos to Lance for being professional about the comparison of the B5 and the Argus its easy in the world of R/C to get caught up in the hype of different motors, I personally have owned both motors and find the Argus is better for me and my driving style, although the B5 is a great motor for the prices of the two you cant go wrong with eithier. In my experience the werks only lasted 3 gallons before needing a pinch the argus lasted me 6-7 gal before a pinch and bearing replacement, and for myself being a novice the argus is very hassle free on the tuning aspect.
Once again it is refreshing to see the professionalism ( excuse the spelling)Lance has with not bashing other companies/motors. Keep up the good work.

Lance. Bonito has had 3 tanks through it and has never idled as smooth as it is now. It is running around 105/110C with foil wrapped around it. 5 or so more tanks than I will start to lean on it a bit without the foil. Awsome job
Thanks Dave

Dude Lance, HOLY SHIT!!!! i got that Orion on the track last night made a couple tweaks on the needles and oh my goodness that motor just came to life. it was fast before, but now its even fast and the bottom end... dont even get me started there. it has SOOOO much freakin power and snap on the bottom end its ridiculous. both gage and leland were out there with me last night and they too were trippin on the difference between the motor before and after mod. killer job and the Orion dude, you knocked it way out of the park. better than i could have ever expected!!!

The way I see it is there are a lot of great products out there and a lot of good people in the business. I try to respect other people and business's and products. People are going to like what they like, and if a product is good then the reviews from customers will speak for itself. I try not to get into the whole this engine is the best and this clutch is the best etc..
None of the products are failure proof and perfect and we are lucky to have so many great choices. That is what makes the hobby fun.
Thanks again,
Lance

Glad you like it. My MODs are the real deal and make a huge difference in performance. Its cool because you had 1 gallon thru that engine before you sent it in to me to MOD and knew how it felt stock. So you got to feel the before and after.
Thanks again for the update, told you I would make that thing rip!

I recommend only the werks or RcPro #5 or #6. I have seen many of the Argus not like the os plugs. They just run better with a better idle with these plugs. especially during break in.
Thanks,

So far MOD Argus is very nice with tons of power as i can tell right now. Great job, still need to fix the little air leak i have in tank. But also this weekend im thinking on doing a glow plug order from you throw me what you think is best for you so far? Im wanting around 3-5 plugs for spares, never hurts

.Either the # 5 or #6 work great .I do recommend the #5's while breaking it in and running on the rich side. In cooler weather #5 , and in hot 90+ deg weather #6..

Lance. We had a race today and I TQ,d with the Bonito in the truggy class after 3 heat wins and a 3rd and the Vspec you also did was second . I ended up 4th with the lad using the Vspec took out the 20m final. The Vspec ran hard all day and cleared out by a lap. I had a few issues which put me out of the running.
