Filling a crank creates a "ramp" to guide the air/fuel mixture thru the crank. Also It enables the variance of crankcase volume. So depending on the engine and engie characteristics. You can increase or decrease volume to give either more top end or a more resonsive bottom end delivery. Some cranks already have a "ramp" built in. Those cranks would need to be drilled out before being filled. We do bore cranks if customers want which also reduces weight by approx 10% by removing steel and replacing with fill creating less rotating mass and quicker spool.

Jeff P, Your Os Crank is worn past allowable tolerances, along with the rod and bearings also need replaced. Not sure if its worth it to rebuild that one. Let us know.What you want to do. The P5 Is all finished. and ready to go
