Second race with the R5S and with the 2104 pipe. Engine ran great and was able to get 8 min easy on the track. I was not having a good day chasing a throttle glitch. I will be ordering a new receiver and possible servo.

Hey guys I hope all is well! My local hobby shop has a brand new GRP tuned .21 buggy engine. Is it still worth it to get this compared to lets say an R5T or R7?. They are all M Rossi engines so was just curious. Thanks

Before you buy a new servo and reciever, try replacing the wiring from the battery to the reciever... switch, servo extension wires or even battery etc. I had the same issue. I replaced 3 servos, reciever, battery and it ended up being a bad servo extension wire that I use to connect the battery to the reciever.

Raced at LCRC this weekend with the reds 4 shoe clutch on my R5S. I can get 9 min a tank getting better run time the more I race it. Can't wait to put reds in my buggy.

Hey Guys
What Clutch bells are you guys using on your Reds engine's with the Reds quattro clutch ?
I've only used the Alpha bells so far, and the problem I have is that it is just just just too short to cover the entire shoe.
So the clutch shoe has an uneven bit of wear which doesn't grab at the very end of the clutch bell.
I need a clutch bell that is at least 1mm longer to suffice but probably 2mm to for peace of mind.
The shimming is just enough so that the vented part of the bell doesn't skim the surface of the spring adjustment plate.
