Evening guys. Anyone know where to get carb needle o-rings for a Ninja MR21-BO1A? I'm also curious if any of the engines, in the Technopower line up, parts are interchangable (bearings and other internals). Any response appreciated. Thanks!

This set should be compatible with your engine:

Yesterday i used the T02 for the first time in race..damn nice mill
I´ve got 1,5 litre on it and it ran already 9:20 in my Moogen Truggy. Changed for the Qualiefiers to my old B01T couse there low grip level and the .21 engines is better für my driving skill on that track. http://www.buggy-sport.info/index.ph...e=img&id=10310 |
so I have the .23 and this last weekend ran the rcproseries here and after my mains I noticed one of the cooling head fins is broken clean off! and this is in the middle. how the hell does that happen? seems kinda odd one in the middle breaks.

It has nearly 7 gallons on it.

some of the cooling fins of my B01T r nearly broken. The reason is the body shell that bend the fins down at crashes or bad landings. That normally only happens on truggy shells

That's already quite a lot, vibrations can make this happen after some time. |
B01i runtime and longevity?
Fellas how many gallons are you getting out of the B01i? And also wht kind of runtime from the motor/pipe combo? My buddy keeps tellin me to get a Alpha! Says he has 1 with 12gallons n motor will do over 10mins? Shed some light please.......thanks

tecnopower bo1 21
hi to all,i recently got a bo1 21 second hand it had about 2 gallons on it,it came with an xray roller which is what i was really after, long story short i was havin a look inside the engine as they are a new type to me,while takin off the backplate i must have twisted it and broke a piece off the bottom of the piston,it seems the replaement part comes as a piston ,liner conrod set and is pretty expensive whaen all i need is the piston,i normally run the go gx11 ,does anyone know where or if i can just get a piston to get the engine runnin and try it out rather than spendin the big money on it without ever havin it runnin and not knowing what it is like ,thanks in advance ,jason

You have to rePlace the sleeve and piston at the same time.
Then do a break in. |

Also when I ran the engine I tried out a different fuel, and that may have caused premature wear and other issues. At 5 gallons there was some slop in the rod and it couldn't hold a stable idle. I've owned both the Tecnopower and the Alpha and I liked the Alpha better because of its longevity. The b01i did had a nice smooth power band for buggy, although for some it may not have enough bottom end. |

Few things to take note of with this engine. The rear bearing is not very good so you should replace it at the 2-3 gallon mark. Mine went 4 gallons until it was really gritty. If you rush break in the rod/crank pin can develop slop. These engines take about a gallon to loose metal pinch. I got 9-10 minutes run time, and that's about normal with most of my engines. Of course there are many variables with run time so 9 minutes on my tracks could be 12 on yours.
