There's quite a few .23s out there, I personally havent ran one. No truggy in the arsenal currently. Maybe some of those guys will chime in |

Thanks on the pipes info, what difference does it make with the different headers? I bought a new engine with pipe included, new, from one of the guys that had posted n this thread, the pipe is the 2069 with the 192 header, how does that work with this engine? The 2034 looks like a 2053 pipe.
|
Has anyone tried using the 198 header with these pipes?

The 2069 "Strada" pipe shown at A Main displays an on-road manifold. :weird:
http://www.amainhobbies.com/advanced...hipex&x=7&y=14 The 2069 and 2034 available to me from Racer Dist. both come with the 192 off-road manifold. I would speculate that the "Strada" would be used with the R-01 Rally Engine in 1/8 on-road applications. 2069 off-road (bottom end) http://www.racerdist.com/v/vspfiles/...69B-192-2T.jpg 2034 off-road (mid-range) http://www.racerdist.com/v/vspfiles/...34B-192-2T.jpg This is from a FAQ at the TecnoPower website: "TECNOPWER is suggesting to use the HIPEX pipes and manifolds which we supply with our engines, the following pipes we have available are: * EFRA 2069 This pipe we have found very smooth with a good bottom-end power, this in combination with the HIPEX speed manifold you obtain very good results with our engine. * EFRA 2034 This pipe we have found very smooth with a good mid-range power, this in combination with the HIPEX speed manifold you obtain very good results with our engine. Other pipes which are working well on our TECNOPOWER engines are: * FEMCA 0801 According our distributor RC PRO in Australia this pipe also seems to work quite well with our engines." I hope you find this helpful. Moto |
Thanks, the strada pipe does look to be an on-road pipe, still curious of how 198 header would perform compared to the 192 header. I know the longer the header, the more bottom end.
|
It is an onroad header.. but thats all thats out there. You might check with Ascendancy they are the newest re-bag of the stock engine and might be bringing in the pipes
