That is not hijacking a thread when he is talking about the same type of product. And I believe calling his a "generic ass looking strap on" would be calling it junk. And he called you on it now your all defensive gee whiz. Sure the sponsors like that talk bashing someone elses products.

Well, regardless of how Mark's product looks, it works perfectly.
To the Thread starter, where are you from? I see you mentioning the PNB, are you in GA? What was your prior screen name?
I'll be at the PNB, and I'd love to see what you've got going. There is no harm no foul in a little competition , that is what makes product better.

If Competition Heat feels my posts are wrong, I will be more than glad to edit them. Not trying to start anything, again just giving props to someone else for having a similar mindset in the world of racing. I will be on my way now

Jburch when did I get defensive? I said it looks genaric am I wrong? no..I never said it did NOT work, I use a hair dryer for a good 5 mins on my engine does not heat it up as fast as a heat gun which is why I do not use a heat gun..I heat my chassis, engine crank case, head everything nice and evenly...to me the price of Marks product is a little high for what you are getting...nothing more nothing less.....

Look gentlemen, there is room for everyone in this industry we all love so much. My reasons for developing and investing in this product is because I whole heartedly believe in it. I have always been an average man that was born into a racing family with a great deal of passion for it, my father built racing engines and I can remember watching him spend countless hours working on them and rebuilding them. When I grew up and started a family I got my oldest son involved in racing and understand what it is like racing on a limited budget. One of the first investments I made for our racing program was an engine heater because I could not afford frequent engine rebuilds do to premature wear and tear from firing a cold engine. I learned from my father races are won in the garage, and if you take care of your equipment it will take care of you. So my goals for this company are to make a product that benifits the racer by saving him/her money and makes the racing experience more enjoyable. I firmly believe in supporting the industry that supports your products. We would like nothing more than this product to be successful so we can sponsor and support events, and we will.

No offense... I also thought the way you phrased your remarks was a bit harsh.
I would think a "team driver" would use a bit more professional sounding choice of terminology. When you say something that comes across harshly it reflects poorly on your sponsors.
Just my $.02
As for the PowerHouse heater... pretty or not, I've seen it action and it works nicely. I don't have one, but have thought about it. Now I may look at this one.

Hey, guys, shut up with the arguing.
Onto this new heater.
I'm going to buy one of these heaters in a month or so and now there is a new one coming out, cool. Perfect timing Mr.Comp. Heat. Where is the sneek peek pic you promised? Is this going to have an adjustable temperature setting? Do you guys have any distribution plans for the future (besides just selling online from your own website)?
I'm very interested to see what this thing is going to look like. I'm thinking something along the lines of a MuchMore tire warmer for touring cars, but with an engine compatible heater in place of the tire cup/thing. Hopefully the price is decent. I'm predicting this to be the year of the engine pre-heater, because it is something that just makes sense.

I'm very interested in this new heater. I've never cared for nascar, but always had a ton of respect for the technology, engineering, and mechanics that build those cars. Any technology pulled from that level of racing is worth looking at. For some reason, I'm picturing the gold foil looking insulation that the Supercross guys put on the bottom of their gas tanks to keep the gas cooler.

I made my own prewarmer last year,12v atv handwarmers. It took forever and peaked at 140 f. I got that other warmer and it works exactley the way i want,i was so happy to have an over the counter option. It only draws 60 watts i need that at my track, limited electrical. Now we have another to choose from GREAT,a couple of friends are also interested.ISN'T it great all buggy's are not just Kyosho we have a choice.
