Dang.. I really like the early Rossi engines.

I have notice the connecting rods on my Black Magic has started to have

the same issue where the rod is good, but, the brass pressed in insert at the

bottom has started to come out. I too plan to keep my LSK, Black Magic

(Wanted to keep the Mamba, but, it's crap now) I think I have a few spare rods

2 piston/sleeves for each motor and that's it. I'm done with them. They will

become paper weights.

When I'm done with them, I can say they were good til the last drop.

you can put the black magic and golden arrow head on the momba and cobra engines

the only problem is the exhaust manifold might have to be growned down on the top sense the new engine case does not have the angled exhaust outlet

here is a picture of the golden arrow just like the black magic except old style carb
now the hps 2000 have a differnt head and head button "smaller but same design and shape"then the black magic and golden arrow

Talking Black Magic

Hey. What are you plans for the golden arrow engine??

I hope you are type to not get rid of it. I would keep this as something

from the past. Beautifully made engine(s) (Black magic included) and

fast for it's time.

I wish I had the money to own one that was new and I could keep as a shelf

queen. I own one shelf queen engine and that is an RB Concepts WS7 First one.

Talking Head Design

Black Magic 21. I agree. I think the engines of old (Black Magic, Golden and I think silver arrow) has always had the best and most attractive design.

I too wish AXE would go back to that design with some Italian styling/updates.

Even simple anodizing/milling off etching to supply design.

Thats an Older LSK motor that is one BAD A$$ motor i had one as a Back up motor and it was SUPER FAST.The Problem with that motor is i don't think we can get all the parts for the LSK motors any more not sure about that but i don't have any parts for LSK on my Dealer Sheet i would need to Email Paola Rossi and ask him to see if Axe even makes parts for the LSK any more are if parts from another Axe Motor will work.

i will sell the newish golden arrow in the picture $250.00 "i knew i should have not opened the box"
it has started break in with a half a quart in now
i stopped breakin when i bought a used blackmagic on ebay. stored with after run oil has been sitting for about 2years in this state of condition

guaranteed good engine should get about 8 t0 10 gallons on it
i get about 9.5 min run time with the other same units i have

i might post for sale a new in box unopened blackmagic
but the price is going to make people drop jaw
as of now or this point i think it may be the only new in box in the world

It is not a LSK. The Speed was the budget motor at the same time as the LSK. It is very similar to the current Sport motor. They are not bad but that carby is hopeless. We had to change them to the LSK or Sport Carb to get them to run.

A lot of these motor's came out Long before i ever started racing for Axe Rossi but if Brad says its not an LSK then it must not be. I was just looking at the pic and the box says LSK on it and i had an older LSK that ran GREAT.

Brad was running Axe Rossi long before i got singed by them so i would go with what he says about the older motors.

Yes that is one thing that was a night mare is trying to break it in. Can you still get those carbs for that motor? If I got one of those carbs is a night and day difference in its performance? I got this motor from a friend that couldn't get to run, and I actually got it to run ok, but it dose drink down the gas.

Talking Hmm LSK??

Wow. Looks like an LSK to me as well. I'll check to see what I have.

I just rebuilt my LSK and am putting it back into service. I have several Piston/Sleeves left. 1 mod and 1 standard. Same with the Black Magic engine.

I'll post pics of the box for my LSK and I think I have the original Brand New Head that I removed in order to put an after market one one that I could use/abuse. You know what I mean. :we
