Dang
I saw theJP puller on e bay, it looked pretty cool, but no need to get so aggressive. I don't understand where all this animosity is coming from, but Ive noticed it before, whatever the reason, leave me out of it.....

YEA im surprised to hear these amateur ways of removing sleeve from so-called professionals, that jp tool is second to none, i have NEVER tried anything else, as the ways mentioned can only do damage, the jp tool, you just pop it in, and pull it out, it has rubber that expands in a sense and grabs on, so when you remove your not PUSHING with a toothbrush on the bottom of a sleeve, wich happens to be the weak part, and im sure the stubborn ones, it HAS to make them slightly out of round. pm me i can direct you where to buy for under 20$...
Btw , no zip ties here ;) |
nah man, no animosity, just want to make sure the right advise is given out, for 20$ there's no worries, i have done the zip tie method, WAY BACK when i didn't know any better, its a forum, just passing the best info i can is all man....jp pullers are great, btw how much on ebay? was it the .12 or the .21 puller, id like a new one....thanks

http://www.murnanmodified.com/produc...roducts_id=738 These are the most durable exhaust gaskets that I have ever seen. They are expensive, but certainly worth it. |

I know the .21 novarossi engines are mostly shimed at .80 and I've read after breakin you can take out a .10. With the .28 Plus 28-7T engine it is shimmed at .60, as once once the breakin is completed is it best to leave it shimmed at .60 or are people also taking out a .10? I'm running it in Late Model oval racing.
