Guys need to stock up on plugs. Have an LS5 which I think someone had mentioned is pretty much a P5XLT.
Recommended plug is CT06 but it's always out of stock.
Read something about using OS plug and sticking with that forever? Asked Amain guys and they said use the PTK-2552.
Looks like this one is also cheaper than an OS or Nova plug.
Suggestions?

Has anyone tried their new base 3 Port BX3? Wondering if its similar to the old non Turbo P3SX? May be a good starter engine for a newbie.

Hey guys, I've got a fairly basic question (hopefully).
Couldn't quite figure it out with Google.

The 28-7 and 28-8 are both available with a rotostart option (for a Savage MT) BUT what the heck is the difference between them aside from port count? Thanks in advance.

Just quoting my post, hoping someone can give me a rundown on any differences worth noting. Thanks

Anyone with the new Mepheso engine have any updates on how the engine is preforming?

Hi everyone. I need some advice on choosing a pipe and header for an older engine.

I have a brand new RB WS73 that has been in a box for 12 years. I run at large tracks here in So Cal - Thunder Alley, Revelation, Wild West, etc. This motor has a ton of top end, so I want a combo that will give me more bottom end power
I have a couple old 9886 pipes for it, but I don't want to run those, as I'll get horrible mileage. :)

Was thinking the 9901 pipe and the 41001 manifold. Any thoughts? Go with a longer header perhaps?

For reference, I currently have a Protek Samurai in the car with the OS 2090 pipe, and 75mm or 85mm header and am very happy with the powerband of that combo.

I would love to buy that engine from you... 😊

I might entertain that..
PM me an offer. It is a WS73 - standard plug.

It is literally brand new, bagged in the box, stored indoors, never mounted or ran. I was going to set it up as a backup, however I have no idea what modern pipe to run on it, hence my post here.

I have a brand new 9863 pipe and header we ran on WS7 years ago.

try the 9901 pipe with that engine. Should give more power. And if u still need more, use a larger venturi. Do all these before messing with shims.

hello sir. I saw this engine for sale. Looks like it would be great engine for small tracks with good fuel consumption for buggy. I havent seen posts of anyone trying it yet. I would love to try it in the future

Yes, it is true, nobody has said here that they are using this BX3.
I think it's because of the Short-Stroke.
This engine is now for sale in the Novarossi World Online Shop 100 €.

HaulinBass 02-08-2019 09:16 AM

If its a square stroke 3 port with 13mm crank its probably pretty close to the b03 limited i got from absolute a few years ago the came with a terrible pipe. It would be alright for a short track but has very little top end and really doesnt pull any more after 80 or so feet. I tried to mod it and change to a turbo button but didnt properly check clearance and she only lasted about half tank after that before locking up at wot. Somewhere in this thread should be pictures of it.
