nova pluss3.5?????
after break-in i was getting 11.5 to 12min of runtime. now after 6 gallons or so its now runnin 9 to 10 min a tank. i have changed the front barring and played with the tuning on my carb. i loaned the motor to a friend for a race. i am thinking he may have ran my motor hot. it started loosing run time after he used it. down to 7 minutes or so per tank. i pulled the button off and the o ring was stuck i cleaned the button and put it all back together. its now picked back up to the 9 or so minutes runtime.
do yall think i should get another head button for it? thanks |

I ran a Nitrotec R21 and a RE10 pipe for about 7 gallons last season and loved it but went ahead a got a BTTA for this year. Anyway my question is have any of you racers ran the Losi RE10 with your BTT or other similar mill? I am trying to save a little money and stick with the Losi pipe which is similar to the 9901 and 2060 I think. Thanks for any info!

if you are happy with the RE10 on your nitrotec it will run similar on your plus 4 i would still recommend a 9901ss/41021 or 2096ss/41021  the guy with runtime issues , usually when an engine loses its compression seal and starts to get some blowby occuring you start to richen the engine on both lsn and hsn (putting more oil/fuel mix in the chamber to compensate for looseness) but mainly lsn so you lose a tremendous amount of runtime by doing so and risk of flameouts increases dramatically resize from Rayaracing.com = goodness  Ray does phenomenal work and theres tooling in his shop that is not sold to others by way of purchasing his own brand (yes he is "THE MAN") of resizing equipment ;) |

I recall seeing Novarossi Rex 3 port engines with a metal shielded front bearing a few years back that were marketed as 'rally' engines in Europe and Australia. This could be one of those engines.
