Curious as to why you chose the Drag mod for a vehicle meant for racing. Fuel consumption should be a concern, right?

If i can make 6-7 minutes, i'll be more than happy. The pit stop is an exellent occasion for me to take a little beer

And the competition we did is not real sanctioned race, it's funny friendly race

And i'll not only race with my truggy , i'll bash with it sometimes during summer, on the backyard!!!!!!!!

Well boys, I got to fire up the JX21 today.
I heated her up and she popped to life as
soon as the flywheel hit the starterbox wheel.
A couple light taps of the throddle and she sat
there purring at idle. I thought something was
the matter because it was so quiet. I'm used
to the loud crackling 086 and other pipes that
I usually run. The 2060 sure will make the
neighbors happy. Anyway, I ran it easy for
three tanks and started opening it up more
on the last two tanks that I ran. It has smooth,
predictable power and all the low end balls you need
when you want it. I'm going to run alot more fuel through
it before I see how the top end is.
I got my buddy coming over in the morning, he has a
Loosy truggie with a Toro Nero on it. I have a few engines
that have already proved his Toro has no balls and I know
that this engine is going to hurt his feelings too.
I'll keep you guys updated. So far, I LIKE IT!!! He! He! He!.....

The ninja JX is an excellent motor. Add the AB mods to it, and you will have something that the others don't have.

Rage, you will soon find out what I mean !!!

I live in Colorado, and can say that this was the motor of choice for well over a dozen local racers. What I noticed thoughout the year is.......... A lot of racers pushed this motor hard in various ways. By the end of the season, the motor had changed. Sure it still had power, but it lost a bit. Another common issue was people were having random flame outs.

But........

While I was running the AB modded JX, I never really found myself needing to push this motor to get what I needed out of it. Actually, I don't temp the motors often, but I was only above 230 once, and usually had temps around or near 215. With this being said, I am still more than happy with my motor and feel that it is still nearly just as strong today as it was when I first got it. Currently it has OVER 6 GALLONS !!!! Now I am not saying you will get less or more life out of your motor. But take care of it, and it will take care of you.

It really seems that Adam at AB mods did his homework on this motor for a result that will please most and make us come back for more

I just got my first buggy about 5 weeks ago and have only practiced at the Littleton RC Hobbies track so far.

Is the track at Rat open to the public when theres no racing?

The "race" tracks around town are only open during the race days. Rat did run yesterday, last of season I think.

The littleton track is really the only one open to the public when ever, but that is why it is in the conditon that it is in.
But Hops was talking about a track change to happen before the white stuff comes in

Well hopefully you all can meet up and do some running or racing together. Bob you'll have to show him how the AB engines run and he might just want to get one for himself.

Oh I already do...

Saving the dough is only hold up. I will be in touch soon.

For now, my recently installed turbo head is making me smile.

Unsober. If you ever plan to hit littleton, do let me know.

Well I have run my AB Mods JX21 in and I'll be leaning a bit more to get the top end livened up a bit more this weekend. The smoothness is awesome and it seems to idle nice, power is excellent considering I haven't tuned for performance yet. I think I'm going to like this engine a LOT
Big race this weekend, so it'll be the real acid test for the engine

man those 2060 pipes are quiet!
