Amain stocks them

smb17 01-23-2010 09:45 PM

Yeah but they didn't show the sizes on the front bearing. Because I am no ordering from A-main. Thanks again.

Ron,

Is there a way to purchase a replacement venturi for the B5?

smb17 01-24-2010 09:43 AM

Ron is Kortz running the steel flywheel with the B5?

No, he runs a normal aluminum flywheel. I'm not an expert on searching the thread but I posted his exact clutch set up on here in the first 30 pages or so I think.

I had some trouble early on trying to tune as I somehow misplaced the venturi while sealing the engine (ok the wife moved my stuff and it disappeared). Brett Kingsbury was at the race and spent 15-20 minutes helping me get it tuned and even helped pit for me. I had a great time at the race and eventually finished 5th out of 10 in a combined pro/sportsman buggy main which lasted 30 minutes.

Kingsbury took all 3 rounds of qualifying in pro truggy but had a turnbuckle break in the main. I also watched him help several other drivers with tuning issues without regard to what they were running. He is a great ambassador for Werks.

thanks for the feedback, it's allways nice for companiesto hear this kind of thing! Tuning an engine without a reducer can be a little finicky lol! I never understood the fad that was going around for a while of running engines without them as it totaly disrupts the airflow into the carb.

Regarding purchasing a replacement, I'm assuming that you have the new alloy carb? If so those are not going to be listed on A-Main yet. So if that's the case just send me a PM with your contact info and I'll give you a call on Monday. Just cover the shipping charge and I'll give you one for free.

Regards,

Ron

Sent you one back, in a nutshell just send it to me and ill swap out the carb. As long as your linkage set up is now right this should take care of any binding issues that you might have.

Regards,

Ron
