I dont think that is to big you are seeing a big gap but look at it again he doesnt hae a venturi in it. When the venturi is in it i bet 1/2 to 3/4 of that gap will be gone.

Also on another note, I can see your clutches in the picture. You have the bell shimmed to far forward, which means you need to shim it more from behind the flywheel.

So who is getting the pro?
|
I am for sure. It is sweet looking. Good job Ron you nailed it dude.
|
when i went to put my m2c clutch on i had to shim the flywheel with 2 shims just to have the flywheel clear the carburator housing. At that point my mugen bell would not fit, and i had to use a bell very similar to the one you see in the picture. That bell has a very short neck and mine looks like his in the picture. As long as all of the shoe hit the bell and i keep my 0.5 play that is all that matters.

Hi guys,
I have a stock 2010 spec B5 and was wondering if I needed to remove/add any head shims. I'm using Byron's 30% nitro and O'Donnell 97T plug. I'll eventually switch to Werks #6 plugs as soon as I can find them in stock. |

from the wear on the spur i guarantee it. The spur is very old as well as the bell they have only been used together for about 10 tanks and the mesh is good for being so worn out but like I said I will be running new truck with new spur and bell so no worrys there SHIMS and mesh will be correct |
