Well thanks for having it in stock! I was having a tough time finding a B5. I can't see running anything else but a Werks after how my B7 ran.
I remember thinking your truggy looked very good at the Hank. I don't think I had a chance to watch your buggy. If you have time next year, you should also consider going to the NCT race in Pasco. That track is one of the better ones on the tour - good size and good traction without wearing out your tires like the Hank! Joe C. |
I have a well used 2057 for sale. pretty well used but still works great. $25 shipped . would get you by until the new werks pipes come out.

Ron - I'll keep you posted on snow totals JCathy, thanks for picking up one of our engines and for supporting one of the dealers that supports us! Tony is a good guy n a true racer at heart! Let me know what you think of the B5 once you get a chance to put some fuel through it! |
i run a rc8b and rc8t. i just got a b7 and going to get the b5 cause it sounds like a killer engine. was wondering which engine should go with what car. ill be getting 2013 pipe for both when they come out. any info will be helpful. also what run time does the b7 get with the 2013 pipe. will i get better run times with 25% or 30%. im switching from rb and was running ws7 and a c6 how do werks motors compare to these engines. thanks again

Tony, I plan to go to Nats next year, yes! Have you been to that track before?

Lol, you do that! I guess anything beats living in Denver a week ago lol! All joking aside though it's been a while, what's the next major race that your planning on attending? We should hook up for a couple of coctails if I'm there!

Got my first podium last night with the B5. I haven't gotten a podium in a LONG time, but the new engine and new buggy are dialed. SRS Speedway, Scottsdale AZ. 21 laps, 10 minutes and change... 2nd place. 9 drivers in the main, and all of them are intermediate or better.... i race novice at all the 'big' races. Oh ya, no pitstop either:nod: gonna put a leaner tune on the engine, though... i was running 220 in the daylight, and this was at 10pm, so i know i could have been leaner if i wanted to be. I mean, it was running, but there was maybe 2 drops of fuel left in the tank.
speaking of the 'big' races and tracks, i got a top 5 at ET moto park on sunday.... almost a 200 ft straight! Those big tracks will make a difference in the mileage... i forgot to come in and ran outta fuel. i added the laptimes up and it looked like right around 9:30 is when i ran out. I'm finally gonna put the 2013 on the b5 and turn up the HEAT! Been using the 2050 and even w/ that, i drag-raced that straight against a buddy of mine with a 28 in his truggy.... i pulled him. but i think the 2013 may get better mileage. Maybe getting that 2057 this winter, too. 2.5 gallons and it's still rockin' |
My son has been running the B5:) engine for a couple weeks now and the engine is great and we´ve run it will the Werks 2057 pipe and it´s been giving good fuel time around 10/10.50 min.
Here in Portugal the tracks here are differente then the ones you´s have in the US,here they are fast tracks with not to many jumps. We´ve try the Werks 2013 to and the fuel time is almost the same around 9/10 min. but the noise is nicer the the 2057 for me but i perfer fuel time then the noise. Victor JMAmodelismo-Portugal |

Does anyone running the B5 live/race at a higher altitude? I race all over GA, but am running a series in Dalton/Rossvile GA., and the altitude is higher and my Dynamite Platinum .21 doesn't seem to get the same mileage, as a track with a lower altitude. I lose about a minute when I race in North Ga, and I was wondering what the B5's time were in an area with a higher altitude? -NuthinFancy91 |
