Default 25% vs 30% nitro?

Hi,

Does any of you guys know whether there's anything I should be particularly aware of running 25% nitro instead of 30%?

Adjustments, anything?

Thanks alot.

Nb. Just received mine today. Absolutely beautiful

Nbb. Thank you absolutehobbyz.com, for outstanding service.

The reason I ask this question is that me, and my fellow rc enthusiast (Khaliffen, also present in this thread :-) just bought the fully modded version of the EB Mods JS. Looking in the manual that came with the beast it is not entirely clear if anthing should be done. As far as I can see the engine is set up to be running on 30% nitro and it does look like one out of three "spacers" should be taken out to compensate for the lesser nitro content (25%).

ED, do you recommend the use of 30%. Somebody told me that 25% will go easier on the engine but I haven't been able to locate any info in this.

I'd be grateful for any info on this.

Jacob,
you can run 25% no problem. the deck is set for 25%-30% and is as low as you can go, now with that said 20% can not be ran with this engine.

OK, so what you're saying is that we don't have to make any amendments or adjustments to the setup to run 25%?

Just got my EB MODS JS today. I put the 086 pipe on with 25% fuel. Started it up and WOOOOW!!! Sooo much power. Very good top and bottom end. Im racing at bumps and jumps Sunday. We will see how it runs.

You should only run 25% -30% nitro in this engine, and no need to touch anything.

this is not a go, only similarity is the carb. case is tougher and is the only problem i've had with go's. this will be my next motor. for truggy, stock or mod?

The JS engine is a totally different engine from anything out there. As stated in a previous post the carb was resourced from another local factory (GO).

either one will be great in truggy. the FM will rev faster and have more top/rpm.
