Power House Rc Performance
Is it worth to spend the extra $15 to get the Turbo Performance package at $95 versus the Race Performance packge which is $80?? There is a thing of having way to much power!! I have a Picco P7 Evo 3 .21 on a Jammin x1cr.

If you are looking for the ultimate performance then yes the turbo mod is worth it. Let me put it to you like this the difference from the race to the turbo is like the difference from stock to the race mod. That being said you have to be on your tuning to properly tune a turbo mod engine. Needle adjustments are about 1/2 of a un modded engine with the same response. So just be aware of that and you are good. I love my turbo modded GRP, it will smoke any other .21 on the track but it is finicky. When you get it right the pay off is soo sweet and the smile on your face will be a sh#@y grin from ear to ear.

Like Frank said. The Turbo is a monster. It has a smaller window for tuning. All my engines are Race modded and the performance and RT is awsome. I'm also not as good a tuner as most. The Turbo does spool up quicker but on the flip side the Race Mod is more controllable.

How long does it usually take to have a motor done?

Tyler

JBURCH 07-05-2009 09:43 AM

Not long but it all depends on Marks work load, plus he works a regular job as well.....But its worth the wait you cant rush perfection, if its your only race mill I would send it when you have at least 2 weeks in between races. Mark is great on turn around time but like I said just send it to him and let him perform his magic and you wont be disappointed even if it takes longer,

Like the boys said, the turbo crank does work and does exactly as advertised but does come with some tuning sensativity. It is worth it when it is spot on but it will require some tuning experience if you don't want it to annoy you trying to find the sweet spot. The picco evo 3 really won't need the turbo crank. I have run it before with just a race port and it was great. My turn around time right now is less than a week. Send it in soon before the rush happens like it always does in July and August for the end of the season push.

We had a alot of fun today in Daytona at the East Coast R/C club in Daytona Beach, Fl.

We had a great run in the 1st qualifier, 2nd was a DNS due to mechanical issues that was unfixable in time for the 2nd Q-fier, needed diff oil and a broken screw had to be extracted, ( I am NOT a surgeon)

Anyways, we started 3rd in the A, after a few turns and bumps we managed to take over 2nd. Trey was puttin down some fast laps and after about 18 minutes (20 min main)the leader made a bobble and 1st place was Treys,
Trey never looked back.
What a awesome day and a awesome finish, 30% Majic Blend was flawless, excellent temp (considering the Fl heat), excellent run time.

Tyler

oh... i forgot to ask what is the percentage of synthetic/ Castor oil in your Majic formula? I've had someone ask me.
