Which Sirio is this? Is it the WCR?

The TRPI you can get it at www.speedtechrc.com
The WCR I think it's not offered in USA yet. The closest to a WCR would be the Collari Sirio offered by www.werksracing.com

So is the WCR exactly the same as the Collari Sirio or are there any differences? What about the comparison between the WCR and the Collari Sirio mod by Mauro Collari?

Hi D

Well for starters the Collari is AAC and the WRC is ABC. The Collari has the LCG head, the Sirio doesn't.
As for timing specs I wouldn't know because I haven't got my hands over a WCR yet, but I can asure you the Std. Collari IS faster than the Standard Sirio TRPI Evo2. and my Mauro Collari hand modified is faster than both...so i would bet the WCR is somewhere there in between the Std Collari and the Mauro Collari......It's my guess.

would the aac piston/liner connecting rod for collari 3port motor (WRXLC12PRO3) fit into the s12-tup 5port? or is the block any different?

likewise would a piston/liner and rod for the new s12wcr slot into my tup and allow me to race 3port, cause i need a decent 3port for this year that way all i'd have to do is buy the sirio pipe, i'm not worried about having a low cg cooling head.

You have to check if your block has widen upper portion on the exhaust port location. They are like teardrops on the sides of upper portion. Those are made on Sirio Evo2, WCR and Collari's to match wide top portion of sleeve's exhaust port.
If it has that work, than you can drop in the Collari or WCR piston/sleeve 3 port set.
The early Sirio blocks PN S12 111100 didn't have that.
The new Sirio blocks (starting from the Evo2) PN S12 111101 have that work.

thanks afm, your really a helpful sorta fella ;)

i think i know what you mean by the tear drop look and from memory i think it has... if i take a picture of the current sleeve and exhaust part of my block would you be able to tell me if it is right to do so?

the exploded view of the motor in my book i just found again right now says 111100 marked for the crankcase, but RICAMBI S12 TSP/R above it.. whatever that means?

outside box says S12-TUP 5port Turbo... anyways i'm sure you'll let me know if it is a green light, red light situation...

InitialD 01-27-2005 11:54 PM

Dynamite, it seems the problem with your digicam is it cannot focus when the object is too close. Try to put the object you want to snap pictures of a little further away from the camera. What camera is that?
