All I can do is try ;)

So I tried tuning in the fms n it was kinda a mess, I no the engine is good but I think the p4 was kinda going n it went within 5 minutes so I tried a used p3 n it was really rich n when I went full throttle it was kinda misfiring on top so I kinda think the plug was toast. I'm thinking of putting my p5xs standard button in the fms since I have plugs that r right for the engine. Will that work ok switching out head buttons?

It's stock what's in right now. I tried the switching button n it started but had no power so I turned it off n switched back. Idk what to do I know it's good cause it's tight n pretty new I just think I need a baseline setting where to put the needles.

I don't no what the condition of the plug but it glowed really well. Then the p3 didn't glow as well so it ran super super ritch. My concern is that I need to get a good setting for the needles so I don't have issues with the plugs poppin due to the tune being so off. I don't wanna pop 10$ plugs lol it gets expensive after a couple.

Monty.....got the boxes today, thanks a million........I ran the mp9 today, car is getting really really good and the 21-4 was flawless as always.......going on gallon 7 and the compression ratio is still money

Hi Monty

these Max Power engines seems to share 95% of part numbers with a mix and match of different nova engines.

thought that maybe someone like you with allot of nova experience could elaborate a little on what you think this engine would be like?

our team needs an engine with good run time and smooth delivery as must of the tracks here are low grip and somewhat bumpy.

to me it seems the components in these engines are very similar with only differences in ports nr's and bore stroke. furthermore it looks like the crank for instance is not tuned. I know the quality must be good I am just afraid this is a entry level engine.

our engine sponsor has the Max power line and the Mega engines as he is the Serpent distributor here. that is why we don't just run the plus-4 and be over with it..

looking forward to your comment thanks

Hey Monty, I have a P5x and am curious about adding a turbo head. I am running in a buggy, and was curious if I will gain too much, the motor has plenty for my skillz.
