Thanks Stallen for tell me your settings i will try again starting on rich side both needles, i did it but will try again...... maybe this is a signal for bad burning glowplugs , but i tried more than one and the plugs were ok, whta plugs(brand and numb(did you tried OS plugs or others?) do you use ?do you use 30%nitro?
Thanks
Thanks

How many gallons with solid performance do you guys get from your TO engines?
We've now had 3 Tebo/King engines becomming unstable when starting at the 5th gallon. They run ok, but seems to lack power and keeps stopping on track and in the pits. temp is stable and this is in three different cars so a leak in the fuel system is unlikely.
We are not able to tune them to a steady performance anymore so I'm just wondering if they are at the end of their line...

Thanks, anyway all lines and fuel tank are perfect, could you tell me what settings (needles turns) are you using in your team orion engine, also the headshims mine came std from factory total 0,9mm (i do not know if you use a 5 port engine or world edition cody, tebo)
Thanks a lot

Anyway, difficult to tell you the gap from idle because its difficult to measure inside the carb... anywaycould you tell me what settings (needles turns) are you using in your team orion engine also the headshims mine came std from factory total 0,9mm (i do not know if you use a 5 port engine or world edition cody, tebo)

Sometimes they idle for a long time, but never stable. Sometimes they die almost instantly.
Compression is low, but not gone. We've had lots of engines running strong with less compression. Except one of the engines, that one I suspect is worn out (from running too lean HSN I think...).
They act like theres an air leak somewhere, but I cant find any. And they are all acting the same way...

We've used the Orion #5 all the time. I think one ot the guys tried the OS P3 and/or P4, and that changed the behaviour, but still not stable.

Check it for air leaks and reseal it.
My suggestion if it isn't an air leak would be to try a repinch and see if that doesn't help it.
Sorry I have no better advice to offer...

@Scotty: I suspect you are correct assuming a little too lean a little too long...
Will se if I can find someone around here that repinches then.
I was told there is someone who expands the piston instead of pinching the sleeve. Supposedly this makes it better because its the piston that wears, not the sleeve. Anyone tried this, and/or knows who does this?
Now why cant the manufacturers sell just the pistons...

All that said I would send it to RayARacing and have him pinch the sleeve. he is the BEST in the business. There are others that do it and they might be as good, but they can't be better..

I have begun break in of my motor. It did not come with a plug so right now I am breaking it in using a OS p3 plug. 3 tanks in and going well. I drained my 2200mah lipo in my starter box 3 times, before it completed its first tank. I am so excited.

Ironically enough I have finall started the break-in of my 2nd Discovery 5-port. This one is going in buggy. The one in truggy is so easy and much fun to drive, I wanted them to be the same.. I did get a few more tanls run through then you did. I am just over 1 Liter which is about 9 tanks.. I'm hoping to get 8-9 more this week then I'm going to St. Louis for Byrons Fuel Nitro Challenge..

Hopefully i ha e a good day with it with the right pipe and plug. Could mot get it to idle right with p3 plug and os pipe bit habe the right stuff now and i think it is going to be very good
