Another thing to check, carb is 100% debris free. Make sure your fuel tank and line are all tip top shape, no pin hole or leaks. Careful with the notorious machine gun idle, it could destroy engine in a short order.

How does the 15 compare to the 12,13,&14?

This is getting a little redicoulous. New engine every 6 months?

It's like I phones! There just using up old stuff that's been there a while, new badge.

They probably have nothing better to do... than make.. engines :D

RCmayor 08-16-2013 01:53 PM

Ya, I don't think they design anything anymore. Just mix match parts together and wa la, new engine.

Eivind E 08-16-2013 02:03 PM

Does anyone even run RB engines these days, other than Kanai?

I bought a blast v12 and put a 2058 pipe on it. It is the best motor I have bought in a long while it rips and only paid $175 for it.

Yes. Their .12s are very popular with the TC guys. Murnan swears by them. :D

Jaz240 08-16-2013 06:51 PM

The V12's have Been selling very well for us! I'm just pissed I have 3 left in stock and now there is a V15. We were ordering 10 at a time because they were selling so well. Italian quality with a matching pipe for $250! Unheard of

RCmayor 08-16-2013 07:44 PM

Ya, V12 should still sell, maybe just for the parts since you cant buy any now. Just price the V15 a little higher, they will probably cost a little more anyway. The V15 parts will probably fit the V12, just need someone to tear into one and see what it is all about. Surely someone here will in the next few weeks.

Herrsavage 08-17-2013 12:28 AM

They are just recycling old parts. A higher number does not mean a better engine. The numbers are also different in different markets. The 13 and 14 have been on sale here. I might have to get a 14... The only numbers they never had were a V3, V6 and a V7 afaik...

I see the V15 says "14mm dual insert balanced and lightened turbo crankshaft", whereas the V14 just says "14 mm racing crankshaft"...

bigjayjay1 08-17-2013 09:10 AM

Holy hiccups another release.. So what's the best version as far as what's being mashed together.

Herrsavage 08-17-2013 09:14 AM

Afaik they're all good. V2 and V4 are WS7'S basically, V8, V12 - V15 are C6's, heard the V11 was a B11, etc.. Best power I've seen video of was a V8.. And the modded V12 looked good..
