They are fast engines, I have one that I have used in truggy, plenty of power, used a 2045/192 RB pipe and header, a friend has the K-10 engine, and used s Losi pipe, the R 12, said it was much better than the RB, and better fuel mileage, I havnt tried that combo yet, but I will soon.

Amain hobbies sells RB Products, but they no longer make the C6, the RB B11 is the closest engine to the C6.

I always thought that was odd the way thats listed. To me that looks like it says (1) .2mm shim and (2) .1mm shims which would actually be .4mm total. I have never had an engine come with 3 total shims tho, they always come with one thick shim and one thin shim to be a total of .3mm. Just make sure you have one thin and one thick.

What would the difference in power delivery be on a F11 with a 198mm header and running a 2087 or 2045 pipe?
Thanks

I think I saw Absolute had F11's in stock. As for the WS9 P/S/R you will have to do some searching. Those engines were discontinued so the only parts your gona find are parts that are still out there somewhere.

Thanks

The power will be very similar. I personally prefer the 2045 between those two pipes.

Hey Chris,

I was just checking out AMain looking to purchase a new Fire 11. However the photo of the engine is with the old header pipe connection style. Is this just a photo error? As I assume that all new engines are using the new pipe header twist connection method...

The old Fire 11 came with the 2087 pipe, as in the link. The new twist style pipe is only available in combo-form with the new BX and BXR afaik..

The Fire 11 is being replaced by the "Fire" sometime this year - again, afaik..

The 2045 and 2087 are still current - the new pipes are just additions to their range, not replacements for it..
