Cool let us know.

We got in the C6 USA in yesterday 3/27/09 that we ordered last week. We sold it for the same price as Towerhobbies. My friend bought it so I can't wait to help him break it in and see how it rips. I got to hold the engine in my hands.

I would say go for it the S5 is a great engine with the perfect balance of bottom and top end. Im going to get one of them or I may hold out for one of the 09 models.

I have looked everywhere!!!! Where did you get the c6 us spec?

Chris__RC 03-29-2009 01:23 PM

Has anyone ran RB's new line of engines? The B9, WS9, S9, H9, or J9? How do they preform to thier old line of engines? When will they be available, adn will they be cheaper or more expensive than their old line?

Hey Guys,
I havent been known to run alot of RB engines, but I got one last year and messed it up, so I decided to rebuild it to have a practice motor and I have to tell you I ran the new losi re11 pipe on the ws7 and holy chit thats a good combo, I think I ran an 086 and a jp-3 on it before and the re11 is a TON better. after break in still running fat went 10:45 in an mp-9.
anyway just food for thought
MO

I followed your experience and bought a RE11 pipe last weekend and tried it on my 1.5 gallon old ws7 and holy chit is right. I really did not like the ws7 with the RB 2045, ran too hot ;soft on the bottom and struggled with mileage (getting 8min) with the Re11 motor ran a little cooler, power came on earlier without losing top end and my mileage went over 11min w/7mm restricter.

It turned this motor from a dog to something amazing. tuning seemed a little more delicate but dont know if the weather was the culprit. more time will tell.:D

If anyone else has this motor/pipe combo laying around try and report your experience please.

RE11 I have been told is like the old 2050 OS pipe, I have a brand new 2050 I will have to try on the 7 in my boy's car. Any other suggestions on the C6.

I have has really good luk with the 2045, I ma interested if anyone has tried the 2045 and found a better pipe.

Is the new line of RB engines coming out soon, are they going to still sell the C6 as is?? or is it renamed (ie. B9)?

Hello Randy,
Here is a option that you can replace all the flat head screws with hex screws. I have these screws on one of my RB's and like it alot more then the flat heads. Less likely to strip.
