O'Donnell Super Sport .21
#17
We all know theres only so many companies in the world capable of moulding Micro engines and be succesful, or has o'donnell invested huge amounts of cash to start producing their engines themselves.

In the RC world the word sport is a pseudonym for the word slow!
Sport pipes=slow
Sport engines=slow
sport buggies=slow
If the factories are stupid enough to use the word sport, they are admitting it's slow!
How many Sport Novarossi's do you see?
Have you ever seen a sport Sirio?
Some companies use totally different names for their engines just to avoid the word sport.

Hey guys just wanted to fill you in a lil on the OD Engine..... In the beginning this engine was meant to be a strong reliable, high quality RTR engine for racers just getting into the sport.... hence why its called .21 SS. However in the last yr with all the testing and racing that was done, this engine is by far comparable if not better than any 500 dollar race engine in performance and reliability ..... It has the smoothest power band, very comparable to the speed and never quits on the straight stretch with great run time! Ten minutes is no problem with this engine....... We have engines with over ten gallons on them that still run strong, all the engines we have ran have not had a single failure on them. It is very nice to race and never have to worry about making run time or flaming out in the back of your head. lol As far as i know they are very close to releasing the engine very soon but Steve will not release a product that is not absolutely perfect which is why it is taking a little time.... It will definitely be worth the wait! Ask anyone that was in Texas for the pro finals, Revelation raceway for the Kyosho race or thunder alley, if we were ever out motored...... a lot of people are amazed by the performance of these engines.
