Do you have it in a losi? if so i know the center diff rubs the boot somewhere.... My friend had this prob.. Other then that, there is NO prob with the carb leaking.
Kyosho 777 WC carb alignment is right throttle linkage pulls nice and smooth still had alittle build up just like the picture |

Boot looks good, there are no holes. Front bearing leaking???? with a total of 9 tanks maybe, including the 5 from EB Mods... thats not a good thing |
I have the extech and it has never run well on a hot plug example the p3 p4. the plug lasts for a tank and a half or two. i run trinity plat. 30%. it seems to distort the coil alot. currently i am running a os p7 and it seems ok so far but i am not getting good run times? is this odd?

Thanks for the help on the pipe comparasion in reference to the 053's, yes you too Max. I'll see how the 053 and 086 I have now fair next month at a two day event on a much bigger track than my local club track.
The JP3 I had in the buggy never felt like it was doing the job, not too sure why, but the motor didn't want to work well with it. I do know the OS motors I was running seemed to run well with the JP3. Thanks again. |

Since you guys don't really check out that thread, or at least I haven't seen you guys on it, I thought maybe I'd help out posting the question here, had something similar happen to me.......
"Ed I got one your motor a few weeks ago it got less then a gallon on it. it is the stock ecteck It has very soft pinch when we broke it in. it now has noting left. It run 5 or 6 good lap in my truck then the bottom end just disappears out no where. I was wondering what the deal is did I get a bad one. We ran 6 tanks at 220 thought it then race tuned. had 2013 pipe and p6 plugs it pops a p3 with in 30 sec just idal Were also not getting the run time most people are seeing were lucky to go 7.5 in a buggy and 8.5 in a truggy. please let me know what were doing wrong call me if you like 440 315 1487" Charles Garten "Porkchop" |
franklucas - you may have the bottom end to lean. reset the needles per the instructions and go from there. Anytime i ran a cold plug it was hard to tune.
