What are you guys doing for run time with the extech .21. I'm running the bigboy pipe in buggy and can't seem to get 5-6 min max. Any help would be appreciated.

The Big Boy or Bat pipe sucks all around IMO.. Get a 2013 or 2057. 2013 has much better bottom end, suited for a truggy, and the 2057 is more of a top end pipe with better fuel mileage / buggy.. 10 could be doable with a light trigger finger, and the 2057..

what other conrod fits .21 extech?

same motor the rod will fit when they get them. Someone also said the Werks B5 and Sirio Evo 4 rod will work also. I have a Extech II .21 rod I changed after break-in it is almost new.

the sirio engine in my OD buggy is the BK Kanai Evo4 STI.. I just need a new rod for my gen1 Extech EB full mod engine.. the thing is crazy fast

both engines are pretty similar in power and speed.. the extech engine came alive with the RB carb.. as far as the OD buggy., yes it is dialed. i have put a lot of time finding a good a setup, your dad should copy my setup... i also think that it handles better after i moved the rx batt back 5/8" of an inch...

Anyone have the silicone insert in the crankshaft fall out of their ExTech .21?

Mine did. I found chunks of it between the sleeve and case. Caused me some tuning problems to say the least.:weird:

I cleaned out the motor and removed the chunks of silicone. What will this do to the performance/runtime of this motor, lacking the insert?

Runs great now that I figured out what was going on. It rips now, idles without stalling, and then doesn't load up/stall when I grab a handfull.;)

Anybody?

just about everyones did. and you can take it out and youll loose about thirty seconds of run time, the tune will change some but thats about it. seen a bunch of people do it.

Thanks for the info. Losing 30 seconds of runtime ain't no biggie. I was getting 10 mins with the AE 2035 pipe in my buggy anyway.:)

my sirio kanai evo4 sti lost the silicone insert and it didn't make any difference with the tuning nor the run times., still as fast as a raped cheetah! :D
