Thanks for your help :)

What pipe are you running? I'm using the suggested RB pipe 2611 on my 720 geared 16/61 22/55 I feel like it needs a little more top end... acceleration is ok but the Max Power on my 733 is deff faster but only 5:19 runs, with the Matrix I'm almost getting 9 mins. I'm testing different glow plugs also and gear ratios and maybe I can lean the HSN a little more... :sneaky:

Seems that orings on middle rpm needle have to be change every 5 liters at least.

Mine leaked only after 1 litre, resulting in poor and inconsistent idle.

The o-ring looked fine, I used teflon tape (plumbing tape) which instantly fixed the problem.

Hey Mick, still got the Novarossi's, just running a Murnan RBM3 at the moment.

Won't be back until the next club day at Moorebank (1st Nov, I think), will be interstate. When are you coming back to Moorebank?

RB 12s from the UK

Dear all, I've just spent the last couple of hours reading the RB thread and found it most enlightening.

There's an old note about changing con rods. Pay attention to it. Our R3 was very tight when it was new. We didn't change the rod. Leading the B at the fast and flowing Halifax track, it broke halfway down the back straight. Case, piston, liner all shagged.

The T9 RC has to be tried. Ours injested a bit of grit into the front bearing seal and started sucking in air. Waiting for some BOCA specials. The engine flies, can be run very warm and the RC crank is a work of art.

We run NT1s in the British National Series. The Works drivers change engines 3 or 4 times over a weekend. We are seriously considering running Uriah's units next year. Winning comes at a cost ! ! ! but it's worth it.

My son Peter drives, all I do is build 'em and buy the bits. We like RB, the French guys are mainly racers and are very helpful.

Regards to all

Hello guyz ... happy new year...
My question is : which rb with pipe should i buy for my motonica but in a 400Euros budget... is for medium and small tracks but i need good top end and average medium end ....

staikosn1 01-02-2010 01:32 AM

Any suggestions??

Nitro-Racer* 01-02-2010 01:53 AM

As far as i know RB makes two onroad 3.5cc engines and one rally game engine. The C9 is surely out of your budget, so the only remaining option is the Classico 9. You could as well look into other engine manufacturers.

staikosn1 01-02-2010 02:43 AM

I want to be with RB cause i have the best support from the guyz there...
I was wondering is the xenon .21 is a good engine. I know is older version but i think is still one of the top engines in low budget!! isnt it?

I owned one many many years ago, great engine. At the time, this was easily the quickest engine. Unless your at the stage where 0.1 a lap means winning and losing, this motor should be fine.
