Here's a link to my son running his .25 (Kendall) You have to watch a little for the race.

JP-6 and 2050 on 7 port

Has anyone tried a JP-6 on a 7 port? How about a 2050 on a 7 port?

Hard to put a figure on it. Depends on fuel and oil quality, air filter/oil quality, ambient conditions and how hard you thrash it :sneaky:

I have heard of Go 5 and 7 ports doing upwards of 10 gallons, so I would assume the 3 RSpec would be in the same catagory. The 3 Sport maybe not quite as long, as the initial pinch is nowhere near as much as the Pro series engines. I would be very surprised if you got less than 8 gallons out of a well looked after Pro Series engine.

Does anyone know where to get a carb boot for a 5 port. A main has been out of them for quite a while. I tried to fix mine but am still getting lots of oil out of it. Does any other brand work on the Go's? Also, I my boot is leaking and spitting oil all over the place, would this cause the engine to run erratic (sp?)? One more question and then I'm done. I bought this engine used and it has very little pinch left. I have just been using it as a practice engine. What would you reccomend doing to freshen up? Sleeve, piston, rod, and bearings? That would come to around $100 is that the way to go, or is the new generation 5 ports and carbs much better to spend the $ on a new one. Mine had the long lsn and I have no idea as to what generation it is.

A tear in the carb boot will cause the engine to run erratic

i would recommend if you are keeping that for good back up to send it to Rex Welch (22racer)to have it pinched and i would check bearings to make sure all good and replace with con rod and get another boot on there. if cant get one msg russell(rocket42) he may be able to get you one. Rex does an awesome job and im going to keep sending motors to him . The new gen motors are just as good as the older ones to me, but im sure others see differences. just my opinion thnx Will G

Can someone please tell me of a Canadian Distributer for these motors. If there is not one, then the North American Distributer would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Sean
