TMizz ... how you usually break inn your GO Engines ?

hey i just got my 21r got tech gettin ready for break in havent started it yet got any suggestions i am going to break it in tomarrow

The JP pipe's have had the set screw on the side for at least 8 months. I purchased one last july when I was at the Manufactures Cup. These GO TECH engines look pretty interesting, might get the new 3 port.

Heat cycle method is really good. That is how I broke mine in for the longest. Heat gun is a must.

But just recently I went ahead and purchased a HUDY break-in stand. A little pricey but it makes everything SOOOO much easier.

Take the engine out the box, install the prop and off you go. No need to install a clutch, ruin your flywheel, no charging starter box batteries or messing up your wheel. Heat gun + $14 drill it turned my GO3 port like it wasn't anything... i was shocked. The only down side is... ITS CRAZY LOUD

I will be breaking in a .25 and 5 port next week on it.

What turbo plug for the 7 port would you recommend running in roughly 80F + weather. I see people recommending the o.s #3 but worried that might be to hot. I live in socal if that helps

I pretty much run the P3 no matter what. Even in Houston we get in the high 90s and P3s still work for me.

nice looking rc8 there tmizzle,so how much running time on dat go 21 7port w/ the 2047 pipe, i'm still waiting for the 21 3 port R ,( is this a turbo version) have any idea when this motor will be out thks..........

to be honest, even though the combo is in the pic i never ran it. lol
I have only run the 2047 with the GO 5 port and I like it a lot. I get a little over 8 minutes with that combo.

I have the race 3 port (i think you can get one from Pro Twister Mods) I am going to try the 2047 on that one as well along with the OS 2050 and i will report back on run time and how they feel.

i love the 3 port spec in my 5r buggy. i got 8.5 min pitstops w/ jp3 pipe using tilted 30%. and took 1st place in the a main tonight!!!
