usually its free for all for the first hour or two then goes to preset 10 min ele 10th scale and 10 min nitro 1/8th scale. and why are you guys showing pics of your cars? LOL is this a show your ride thread

I've ran practice like this at big races like the AMS in Alabama and it was effective.

I know thats how its been ran in the past, but once controlled practice starts I think if we had drivers in pre-assigned heats like qualifiers setup in the computer it would cause less confusion and be much more organized so people aren't fighting to get on the driver stand. Everyone will have equal time and they'll know when there up.

good luck convincing anyone around here to do that. I have been trying to get people to do that since i went to silverstate but i guess its too much work for anybody to try it. i think it would make practice run much smoother and we could set up the quals from the practice times so all the heats would be made up of guys that run at similar speeds
Its gonna be a nightmare if its a free for all with 220+ entries, no doubt about it....
