if your running a standard type esc (sphere comp\gtb) try 78/29 or 75/28.

Did some adjustments to the ol SC10 and decided to put on a little display for the boys behind the shop. Found a nice little jump the would send me about 20' in distance and about 3' in the air. It happened to be across the street and I was hitting blind from behind our building...one more hit should suffice my craving for today...ran down the alley and gave a good squeeze and the 10.5 hooked up and began floating down the hard pack gravel alley like the beast it is heading for the final demo of the day hit the asphalt with a slight compression of the fresh built shocks and then proceeded under an F150 from the blind side and headed right underneath and caught the inside of the opposite front tire with a crunch...Did I just loose my precious ride with a one night old 10.5, $300 in batt and esc reciver etc? Nope. Lost a $10 dollar front arm. That's it lessoned learned..

Kyle, sticking to the track, see you non-ECTers Friday.

Kody's is in the display case, other than the gay paint job, it's OK

There was also a new kit on the wall, don't remember if it was the buggy or truck.

Default Stock truck

Hey fellas,

I'm returning to TRCR after being away since 2002. This time around I'm bringing my 10 year old son to run stock or spec truck every now and again. What are the stock 2wd truck motor requirements nowadays with the brushless motors? Is there a Spec or Sportsman class...or just stock and mod?

We'll be running XXXT-CR and MF1. Setup info? What tires are workin?

Hella interested in 8e Buggy or 4wd. We run nitro truggies regularly out here in Port Angeles and Sequim. 8th is a blast!

There is a novice class and then a stock class and in stock you can run a 13.5 or a 17.5. Jconcept bar codes are what the mod guys usually run or the panther switchs, the Jconcepts are very long lasting, they are what i prefer.

If you go to the losi site and go to the off road thread and the ask dustin evans forum. He came here to run the Ect and won all three mod classes, and he said he didn't change his setup from his home track in Denver.

Hope to see you at Trcr

Thanks Mike! I'll be out there with my son soon. He's attached to his Desert Truck so he'll be practicing with that. I s'pose I should swap out that CC 7700 for a sensored 13.5 or CC4700/4200.

Just picked up a used 8E to play around with too. It's a converted 1.0 on an Xcelorin setup 1700Kv and 5S, so it's more of a beater than a racing machine... fun nonetheless.
