I'm in that's why I'm currently running the Tekin Redline 10.5. Seems to be pretty good kicking butt on the mods. 
well except Bridgewater. Got me thinking I might put a mod. in for club racing.
That will keep the 4wls trying to keep up.

8 minute mains hard on the guys with old brushed motors. brushless expensive.

8 min. mains are not harder on brushed motors. The majority of guys practice with brushed motors longer than 8 mins.
It does add to the maintence that you will have to do. but a properly geared brushed motor can go longer than 8 mins without issues.
It has been proven that a brushed motor can last for 10 hrs. straight without blowing up.

ROAR is going to eliminate the stock & mod class`s ...
Instead a new system base on skill instead of motors will be use to determine the new class`s .
and
The racer can use any motor they like in any of the class`s...

back in the day it was 4 minute mains and batteries got better motors etc. So we went to 5 minute mains perfect. Not took it up 3 minutes more. Your almost doulbling the race....
