Hope the weather holds for the sc shootout in carnation. Might just have to run it. Friday was a blast. Havent ran in a couple months and for rebuilding my truck an hour before racing it worked well.

17.5 gearing?
Hey Guys, wondering what you all are gearing the 17.5's? I've got a Duo1 or Ballistic I can drop in, suggestions would be appreciated?

if it's for your RB5 you'll want to use AE spur and slipper pads (Kyosho only goes down to 76T) and run 69/33-34. You want to get close to an FDR of 5.5. With the AE 72T I think you need closer to a 32T pinion. You can't fit a big enough pinion with the K 76T.

Are we going to change stock specs on Oct 1?
* stock buggy & truck. 17.5 with no boost.
* stock SCT. 13.5 with no boost.
And have there been truck racing? Or has that really passed on?
