Tacoma R/C Raceway
October 26th
Doors Open at 7 am
Practice from 7 am - 9:50am
Qualifying begins at 10:00 am
Entry 22.00 per class
Qualifying
A- Starts
1-Staggered starts. Each person will be individually clocked.
2-live loop. There will be 2 minutes between the finish of the race prior to the start of the next race. Live loop means that the loop will become active or live at the two minute mark. It will be the racers responsibility to get to the loop before the driver that first crosses the line completes his first official lap.
B- Qualifying runs
a. 2 rounds of qualifying. Using single fastest run to determine your main event position.
b. 8 cars or trucks will make the main event due to track size at TRCR,Mike’s R/C World and Four Seasons R/C Raceway. 2 bump ups from lower main events will fill the 10 car main events at these tracks
c. 6 cars will make the main event due to track size at A Main and Independent R/C. 2 bump ups from lower main events will fill the 8 car main events.
d. Qualifiers will be 5 minutes in duration.
Main Events
A- Starts
a. Starts will be heads up based on qualifying position. One front tire is required to be on the line at the start of the race.
B- Main event Format
a. Triple A Mains will be used at all races this year. All lower main events will be single main events. Tie Breaker will be the 3rd race.
b. All main events will be 5 minutes unless otherwise noted
Points:
A-1 Point per event entered
1 point for TQ
100 points for a win with each lower position losing one point.
best 4/7 races count
B-Trophies to the top 5-10 at the end of the points series depending on turn out in each class.
1 free entry to the champion of each class the following year

a. Any Machine Would 27 Single approved by ROAR
i. Bearings may not be added
b. Any 17.5 Brushless motor approved by ROAR
B- Batteries
a. 2 cell Li Po's will be legal. Car MUST BE legal ROAR weight
b. Sub C cells must still only be 6 cell
C- Tires
a. Buggy Front: Panther C compound Bobcat
b. Buggy Rear: Panther C compound switch 2.0
c. Truck Front: Panther C Compound micro rib or : Panther C Compound Switch 2.0
d. Rear: Panther C Compound Switch 2.0
Super Stock 4wd,Truck,2wd Buggy
A- Legal Motors
a. up to 19 turn brushed
b. Brushless 13.5 and 10.5
B-Tires
a. Buggy Front: Panther C compound Bobcat
b. Buggy Rear: Panther C compound switch 2.0
c. Truck Front: Panther C Compound micro rib or : Panther C Compound Switch 2.0
d. Rear: Panther C Compound Switch 2.0
Tech-
Unless noted all cars must pass tech to ROAR standards. Ex: weight and width.
So far this year the topic of discussion has been the Slash The rules are pretty much set on what we will allow as modifications! This should be a great class to help continue the fun factor!
-kit motor and esc
-kit wheels and tires
-kit shocks and springs
-no aluminum (shock caps ok),carbon fiber or graphite up grades
-kit servo
-slash bodies (traxxass or pro line) only. custom paint jobs encouraged
-any receiver
-any battery up to 7.4 volt
-any battery connector
-any gearing
-PTs allowed
-reverse allowed
-no weight restriction
-no swaybars
Slash Racing Format
Qualifying
-heads up starts
-round 1 will be random
-round 2 will be based on the 1st round with the fastest cars in the back
-the main event will be filled with as many drivers as can fit on the drivers stand
-main event will be determined by finishing position from the earlier qualifiers. Using the best finish that each driver has will determine the main event
- Main event starting grid will use all trucks backed up at a 45 degree angle to the straight away. 1/2 on one of the stright away and the other half on the other. Starting position will be determined based on the winner of the first round heats starting on the back and so on.
- winners from the first round will continue to race in later qualifiers to promotoe blocking!
- rubbing will be encouraged
- turning around to run backwards will not be allowed
-rules can be changed and updated as season continues!

Club racing has not fell apart at Trcr .....
In fact its the series races that are in trouble ....
hotels
hundreds of miles to travel
and
all those parts you have to buy , just in case you break...

Comp is super serious in that class, and at the four the slash class has been crazy from what I hear.
This series should be great. Seem's to get better every year. I can't wait to see all of the south and east guys. Didn't do the Nct so hopefully I will see them at the ECT

Still summer kinda , is the not the best time to see multi mains at Trcr ...
BDW not all the results are always posted...
Tuesday`s does have A & B ..not every time , but they do occur more than not ...
Like I said , Club racing is far from dead , its still around and times are changing ....
Racer`s are beginning to realize that club racing value is hard to beat and has been the most affordable form of racing available...
