Hey RCBLUE,
I was out at LAZY M this weekend and thought I would stop by PATS ACRES to check out the track.I watched for about six hours when the big race was ther and was interested to see if the track was still there or bulldozed.Low and behold the track is still there but I must say that it is very rough and trashed.I am not sure how you fix the big gouges out of the quad or all the cracking of the dirt.I had so much fun watching that event that I went and bought an 1/8 buggy and I am hoping that the second or third race with it will be at the summer rage.First race this Saturday.Just thought I would let you know what I saw out there.

The cracking of the dirt makes no difference. That is just the clay in the track that has dried out. That means high traction.

So I have a question for ya RCBLUE,
Why is it that there has been no club racing at PATS ACRES?

There hasn't been enough manpower to maintain the track for one and the main reason is the owner of Pat's Acres has been going though some zoning/usage issues with the county that are now all resolved and Tim didn't want to make things worse.

I think we have the RDing covered between Tim and myself. Just ask anyone who attended the Pro series at Canby for the last 2 years.

Hey Greg, I am unsure if we are going or not. If we do, it will be a last minute deal, depending heavily upon exams, if the wife lets me and the boy go, and how close the points are in the respective classes as a last decider. I would really like to go, but with school, wife, and the long drive it is looking sketchy.
