2006 Summer Rage - Canby Oregon - Last Stop of the NCT

This will be the last race where the Point Winners will be awarded. Should be some good battles as all the Points look pretty tight so far. For more information you can visit www.northwestchamps.com

Also I have this announcement:

Hey racers I have good news. After talking with Byrons Fuel I have got them to offer thier contigency program. You will need to abide by all stipulations at the last race in order to qualify and they have left it up to me to verify all is met.

So if you are running Byrons fuel please read all the rules to qualify for this and please see me at Walla Walla so I can get your name and make sure all the guidlelines are met.

ANyways here is what they have said:

Byron Contingency Program
Northwest Champs Series
Byron Originals will pay the following contingencies to the total
points leaders following the final race (#6):
1st Place in Total Series Points, 1/8 Buggy: $300.00
Final Points Winner Positions 2-3, 1/8 Buggy: $50.00
1st Place in Total Series Points, Super Monster Truck: $300.00

www.byronfuels.com, fill out form and have race official sign off on
form.

6. Driver must pose for any trophy presentations with Byron Fuel bottle.
7. Driver must have Byron Fuel bottle present and visible at all
times in pit.

This is a great way to support our Sponsor and you as a driver to make some money racing.

Currently they do not have a plan for 1/10 Gas or 1/8 Stadium Truck but hopefully they will next Year

if you are running Byron Fuel or are
planning to run Byron Fuel in Race #6, you can win the contingency.

You only need to run it at race #6

Guess I won't be at this one since it's the same weekend as the Region 11 ROAR Onroad Regionals.

Gee, I was really looking forward to getting my butt kicked again too...

Hey,
I was considering comming out and getting my butt whooped in canby, but I dont see the LST2 on the legal or Illegal list for super monster truck. Can I run my lst2?

Thanks for the info,

-Ryan

gatermaxx 08-08-2006 11:27 PM

I am about 99% sure that it is legal, there were a ton of LST's ran last year, and I think there are a few LST2's that have been run this year. The main thing that are not allowed are truggies, or 1/8th scale stadium trucks, or monster trucks on a pan chassis. Should not be a problem, and I am sure if it is I will be corrected shortly, and you will know.

Thanks for the info, but with no pan chassis, how is the revo legal? dosen't it have a pan chassis?

the diffs are below the chassis, and it is sold and distributed as a 1/10th scale monster truck, not a 1/8th scale stadium truck. a pan chassis is a buggy based chassis, like the truggy has.

Gotcha,
I'm just trying to figure out all these rules and what is really a truggy and what is a MT. It seems like ROAR even has a hard time distingwishing whats what.

RD Racing 08-09-2006 03:21 AM

PDX...bring it.

PDXLST 08-09-2006 05:11 AM

Holy crap!
Im already being called out! :weird: :weird: :weird:
I dunno, I gotta work that saturday night so I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it. I haven't really raced in about 10 years, just got back into the hobby. We'll have to see.

nhra6849 08-09-2006 06:10 AM

Will they be using water???

TeamTazman 08-09-2006 07:00 AM

No; LST's run on nitro.

Sorry; couldn't resist.

doyschultz 08-09-2006 07:20 AM

I understand the race is still a ways a way but does anyone know what the surface will be like this year? I'd like to get tires here early.

Thanks!

redman 08-09-2006 07:30 AM

PDX, bring it out. You can pit with me if you like.
Tires? Crime Fighters always work, Boas if truggy, Pythons if Revo.
