Greenbandit, that was awesome you guys came all the way up from Portland for this, it was good to see you and hope you can make it in the future. Pity nobody else had same cojones.

We'll be encasing our body in acrylic and putting it up for display. Hopefully this will inspire you all to become truely as great as Fat Tom himself.

lol
Thanks Wes! That was a blast! I have not had that much fun racing in a long time. I will be back for future races for sure. I got more help and more advice in that one race than I have gotten the whole season from the guys I race with. You are all great people and it was fun meeting everybody. Thanks to my teammates Fred, Brad, and Brett for the great advice and the great driving. Too bad we had electrical difficulties, otherwise we would have been right there to battle!

I'm working on our next one.

Should we do another Sat evening? or a Friday night?
I think the next one will be 1000 laps, or 999. Should take about 3 hours? I'll have to check my numbers on times. ooooh, how about 19T? or too much for some or their cars?

And a 3 man team would be interesting. What ya think?
For my own benefit, I would like another Saturday night race. I cannot make it up on a Friday after getting off work at 6pm.

Something that I thought was very interesting, is that since this was a rubber tire race with a stock motor... the car laid down "no groove". In fact, I think that the cars sucked the groove up that may have been there. There was almost a white line instead of a blue groove around the track. When you looked at the line the race took place on, it was darker outside the line. Weird. SO, would it really be posible to do a 19t - 1k enduro if no groove ever came in? I agree with Weylin, if we ever did more then 999 laps, quarenteen the cars in their spot on the track, only allowing it to be shut off/on. No servicing allowed.

Patrick... Weylin say's plan ahead!

5 hours of racing with no traction compound laid down.
I guess you can race without it after all, going offline wasn't that big a deal during the race.
Figures that someone that only runs on foams would notice that, sharp eye Brian.

I think that if we had 8 or 10 teams of 3 then we only need 4 or 5 corner marshel's at one time anyway

WHAT: Weylin says I have to watch how much I DRINK

yeah, Paul pointed out the "white" groove. It's amazing the strange things go on with surfaces. Think maybe we're on to something? hmmm

We're quoting Weylin now?

Hmmm, I wonder what else I might have said? I was probably just too drunk to remember !

The traction is higher after the enduro because the fibers get so pushed out in the direction of travel and theyre smeared very flat. Funny how it turns it lighter though, but I remember seeing the same thing after we ran a layout for a while last year. So, what do you guys think, now that theres better traction should we change the layout? I'd be down .

We should leave it for a couple weeks I think. It will make for some really good racing now that everyone is real practiced up on that layout and the traction is up we should have a couple weeks of good freight train action.

I say leave it, there are a lot of people that can now do it with their eyes closed.

Yeh, yeh, I know, I do it by Brail.
