If you read the Tamiya Championship Series thread there's been a big discussion about which drivers should be allowed in classes like GT3. They're trying to rank drivers so the entry level classes are really for entry level drivers, and not sandbaggers.

Thats really it from what Ive been reading
Seems that the controversy is that Better drivers entering into the lower
levels and winning when they should be in the upper rakings
and this seems to be the way they will start to eliminate this trouble
However I don't see anything from preventing someone from registering for
a lower level even when they are a upper level driver, unless the track owner
wants to go out on a limb and speak up when people register for the actual race

I was actually going to try GT3 this year, because I like the closer racing that comes with 21.5 motors - but then saw all the babbling about advanced racers sandbagging in that class...17.5 and 13.5 are fun - but too much of a gap between the good drivers and the average/occassional drivers

I know I don't race anywhere close to every weekend, or every other weekend - but because of what I've done in the past, I wouldn't be able to run the class..

I guess the moral to the GT3 story is - run the FWD car

Default TCS Racing

Looking at this from the outside it seems like a good idea. I hope that everyone lists themselves in the proper class?

Default 2013 Season at the Beach?

Not sure what is going to happen for this season. Just waiting to see what the Parks Dept. says about the contamination in the sand. I will keep you all posted with the up to date information as I get it. Thanks

Hey guys I got a question. I just filled out and submitted the TCS license form and checked off all classes, is that a problem? The reason I did that is because it said check off classes I might be interested in racing so I figured that I might actually race some of the others at some point. Did I make a mistake?

Checking off all classes for the license is fine, but I think TCS only allows you to enter 2 classes at each event.

Hey john, I'm gonna be getting my 25.5 for the upcoming season. Are we running brand specific or any brand?
