Baby steps Mark, baby steps, aren't we headed in the right direction though??

Now we gotta work on eliminating 4wd Unlimited SC and we'll be golden...

So with everyone going to mod SC, is there going to be ANY 17.5 people here or am I alone?

Maybe combine 4wd SC and 2wd SC and do unlimited that way?

Who said everybody is going to mod SCT? Just a few guys are going to entertain the idea.

Combined is how we have run modified SCT up to this point.

Oh. I thought it started already. Kind of a histrionic moment there.

I've done it and you can too.

I'll run mod with my 17.5. How much snow does there have to be for RCHR to shutdown on Wednesday?

after driving my sc on sat,, i think the mod idea is not so hot,, the 17.5 with no boost is plenty,, 17.5 with boost you only pick up a few tenths, but makes it that much harder to drive. JMO

It's not necessarily that you guys have to switch to other motors, but that when you go to other tracks you'll have a legal car to run in mod, and out of towners can race SC at your track. Me for example, I run an 8.5 in my SC at home, I don't even own a 17.5 and definitely wouldn't buy one just to race for a night or two here and there.

Mod is the way SC is growing, we now have two classes at rce, mod: which is open motor to any 2wd SC, then spec: no timing on the speedo, 17.5, any tires/bodies.

In the mod class, can one use the ribbed front tires that ROAR banned? I was thinking that this mod SC idea may not be so bad and that I may want to join in, so I figure I'd ask.

Looks like we are headed in the right direction. We are making one very big class.
4wd SC has always been a little rough.

Looks like we have all the ST drivers now. Should make for a very competitive class.
