Ohh Geez, here we go again.....
As bad as the LIR thread, nahh, it's not quite that bad....
All the trash talking helped boost attendance during the slow months at RCHR. It didn't drive people away. When it started getting personal was when it took a turn for the worst, those who did, know who you are...
What I saw drive people away was the "bad mouthing" or "mouthing off" either about other drivers, The Hobby Shop, or the Track itself....

Either way, the new layout is in, it's awesome, and hopefully it'll be nice and cured for Wednesday night, can't wait to see my cars flying over them jumps.....

Larry,
Hopefully I'll have my truck ready for tomorrow, so you better get that junky bag of trash RT5 ready to get whooped on by my T4.....

That was my best attempt at trash talking....

Not good at it...yet, I do my trash talking with my driving....

Scott Puma is a life saver......

P.S.
There are way too many spoiled little bratty people in this hobby, ask Mark, he'll tell you a story or two.... you just gotta grow a tough skin and keep on keeping on....

Alright, maybe I did go a little overboard. I never meant to get everyone so worked up over it. But I still think my point should be given some respect. I was trying to get a friend involved int his great hobby, but when he saw the activity on this thread, he kind of backed up from it all. That helped to spark that comment. Again I didn't mean to offend anyone. I'm sorry I did. The people here when at the track are great, I know, but for those who are new to this and may want to get involved in rc, the online activity may seem a bit harsh sometimes.

Lil Guy please ok you can't compare the two, first i wasn't even talking to you, second im the same guy you came to for help when your RB5 wasn't working remember, rounded out rear wheel hub......Thats what the hobby is about you and your friend basing the actual track off a forum is weak..... I thought i was having fun with a seasoned rc driver but nope you thought you had a point and you didn't i was having fun with Ron not you, didn't mention Derek at all.... You and your friend should come and have fun and not worry about whats happing on this here forum exspecialy when its not address to you.
You're name is Larry, right?

im with you larry, every form of racing has trash talking. weither its r/c or full scale, THERES GONNA BE TRASH TALKING. you need to remember that these are toy cars. if your gonna take that bashing seriosly, then you need to find another hobby,............................................ .....like stamp collecting

, um can you paint me a pit board to match my bodies if i ever get them from Darksidedesigns, Guess i'll have to bring it to you cuz i don't want you getting up but since your a high octane type of guy figure i'll give you something to do while your on the bench.
Freddy, I'll be there and Steve isn't going any where. He will be running truck as well as some other classes.
Larry, please understand something. I have been on the receiving end of a lot of trash talk ever since I become the ROAR region director and even before that when I first got picked up by schumacher. I never claimed to be a great driver, hell I haven't had enough consistent wheel time to even get the cobwebs off yet. I do get easily agitated when someone starts busting on me about being a sponsored driver. I am also going thru a very tough time in my life and don't have much patience for anything lately. I hinted to my problem in my last post and am more than willing to explain it all to you at the track since I doubt everyone wants to hear my sob story. Trash talking is a good thing but sometimes it starts to sound like a personal attack. Sorry if I took your calling out the wrong way. I'm not looking to avoid you or not speak to you. I'm actually looking forward to the day that I'm all over your ass trying to take a win away from you. After all getting the blood flowing to make the racing better is what you were trying to do in the first place.....

No hard feelings here dude....
Let's leave it all out on the track and not have it linger in the pits. Hope to see you on Saturday and let's see if I can drive the "Larry killer" good enough to give you a challenge..
