Great day of racing!!!!

Had to be the bigest turnout I've seen at RCHR so far. Mod Truck was a blast to run. Didnlt have time to get the Schuey dialrd in so I did't run 4wd. I'll be running it at the next trophy race for sure! I was happy to qualify for the B-Main.

I have to say that Kyle put on a show. I still can't belive that he has not been picked up by a major mfg. yet......

Kyle , sent you a pm about that.

[QUOTE=tecniquin2001;6601553]Awesome day of racing.....

Kyle,
Needless to say, Awesome job there buuuuddyyy, we can safely say, we got one of the Fastest guys in the Northeast. That battle with JS in the truck main was awesome to watch.

My car felt awesome the whole night, I can actually push it harder than I was, but that'll come with time, I've only had it for about a week and already made the A-main in limited buggy..

4wd Buggy, qualified 7th in the A=main, and finished 7 or 8th, I moved all the way up to 5th spot, but someone took me out twice... I pulled my first 15.9 in my first qualifier. Again my car felt real good, by going from truck to 4wd kinda messed my reaction time a bit, but I had a blast never the less, my goal for 4wd was to qualify for B-mains, I qualified for A-main, so I'm happy...

Mod Truck, has turned into my fun class, I qualified 5th in the B-main, and after a rocky start, I pulled off the 3rd place finish behind Evans and CCristo, so not a bad night for me in truck.
Yeah our Wildchild has got to get some sponsorship going. He has taken it to another level in the past couple months.

Freddy good job by you too, getting into the 16's in 2wd. I am still trying to get there myself. So far 17.2 is my fastest.

Yeah, I was shocked when I stopped in. 15 rounds and they even had to shorten the races to try and get it done by a decent time.

It was definitely a fun day yesterday. I'm glad to say I made the A in all 3 classes I ran which were all deep. 4wd, Truck, and 2wd Limited all had almost 30 in each class which was AWESOME!!! Was nice to see we had RCHR representation in every "A" with Kyle in 2wd Modified, Kyle and Me in Truck Modified (Bite me TS ), Freddy and Me in 2wd Limited, and Kyle, Raul, Freddy, Tom C, and Me in 4wd. Kyle put on a heck of a show and if I wasn't in the top 5 in Truck I would have pulled over just to watch .
Great job to all the RCHR racers, thanks to the RCE and LIR guys for coming, just leave Evan home next time.
Chris C, nice to meet you finally and get a chance to run with you, new math rocks!
John, Hilde, Will, and Mark Thanks for running a smooth day and really keeping us moving.

Thanks to all the RCHR crew......had a great time yesterday even though my racing was less then spectacular.

I do have a couple of quams with the goings-on though.
1) Get the friggin kids off the damn bucket! I ate that downhill gulley twice in a row while some little dude has his finger up his nose standing by the bucket. Luckily that was during a qualifier so there was no punishment dealt.
2) 5 minute quals and 6 mintue mains are for minis.
Could we really have saved that much time cutting the racing times down? I, personally, feel I do better in an 8 minute race rather then 6 and was disappointed to see the race times after the first few heats.

If we had actually started at noon, things would've gotten done at the same time as they did, even with longer race times.

3) John B needs an AMP/Jlap PC lesson from Mark......

Freddy - Great job yesterday bro
Raul - You drive too damn hard. By the end of this winter, your Shuey isn't gonna be a Shuey anymore......it'll be an MTC Tool Car courtesy of Mike Fradette.
Joe G. - Nice runs yesterday dude......and I'm not talkin bout the explosive diarrhea from the chili
Kyle - you are a chode mongering beast and it's a wonder how you get faster and faster every week. I'm gonna start snortin meth just to get my reaction times up there. Talk to Betz and that other dude and get a Kyosho factory ride for goodness sake!

Thanks Matt....You were right on the verge all day of breaking out too. I agree, that Chili was brutal!
You're also spot on about "bucket boy". It's cool to have volunteer marshalls but that was a key spot. We as the racers should have asked him to go to a different spot after we had to keep yelling at him to sit down. John had his hands full running the show, I should have talked to the kid. Next time will be different, especially since I saw you eat the double both times and it didn't look like a pleasant experience!

Man that was a fun day. Kyle nice running with you. Hope to see you down Dec 6th. The program was real fast and smooth. We really didn't start that late and racers signing up late is usually the cause of that. (hey I gotta back a follow race director) Shorting the races saved over and hour a very good move (i think). Can't wait to do it again. See you guys soon.
