Yeah..... i only have a short bus so i can't really talk to much about that lol, but soon as the new buggy drops i'll have plenty to say. My Neighbors are supposed to be visiting today running mod truck Mike and Steve Richardson, so that is gonna be fun to watch.......
kinda wish i had something worth racing for LIR this weekend but i wish i would bring that Short bus out of Waterbury.....

Short bus is fun as hell. I'll be running that tonight, and possibly 2WD if I can find my metal gears. I'm tired of fixing the Cougar.
I have a question regarding timing in the SC class. If I were to run my LRP SXX, can I adjust the "Power Profiles?" Is that not the same as adding timing?

After going back and looking at the manual, it does add timing.
I run profile 7 with a 7.5 in 2WD buggy, and there was a noticeable increase in power. I do prefer the linear feel though.
edit: lol @ the little pic. I'll see if I can enlarge it.

Hey Lamar,
We can always run Mod SC....
I threw the LRP 7.5 in my truck and it's staying there till further notice, so if there's no other Mod SC I'm just running buggy...
Mark,
Are you guys changing that dual lane jump thing??
Just make it into one or the other...

I think that a lot of people, were instinctively taking the inside line, close to the pipe, in order to set up properly for that section, you'd have to go wide and line up straight with the jump and then it was pretty much a straight shot. Now, the downside to that approach is, people are still gonna sneak in tight, mess up and mess you up in the process....that's when you use the triple jump

"After discussing it with Rob here is the decision on boosted esc for this weekends Regional....
ROAR Spec 17.5 Short Course- NO BOOST ALLOWED!!! All ESC's must be be running a NO BOOST factory profile or NO BOOST software and must display the appropriate led display feature to verify the no boost setting. Running a profile that allows boost, but has boost turned off WILL NOT BE ALLOWED. All trucks will go thru tech before their respected heat. Racers must be at track side early enough so all ESC's can be inspected and not delay the race program. Any racer who fails to bring their truck thru pre race tech will be automaticaly disqualified from that round of racing. TRUCKS MUST BE INSPECTED BEFORE THE HEAT NOT AFTER, NO EXCEPTIONS!!! A ROAR official or designated assistant will be at track side perform the inspection."
I'm glad I'm only running 13.5 buggy....
Then the Spec 17.5 SC class is not ROAR Spec...geez, I'm glad I'm going Mod SC....
